this is my main issue with pelle.

do you really think he got angry at half time? how the fuck can you show this little emotion? its like some of the cunts who turn up at the ground/ get filmed when you see us on tv. Dzeko goes down at anfield and the tv shows rows of blues stood there not even watching/arsed.

There was too much sulking and not enough action both on and off the pitch today. The loudest moments before the equaliser were when our players made mistakes.

There is, of course, another issue which is that some people are hard-wired to think the worst of Dzeko no matter what he does. That might explain what you saw at Anfield.

I've tried that. It doesn't help.

Chelsea or Liverpool, it's like a choice between being robbed by a pickpocket or a burglar, but, the way we've played some games, it's like putting all your gear on a wheelbarrow in your driveway with a note saying 'help yourself'.

Kompany's reliable(usually), we were shit scared tonight, or too fucking arrogant. Not sure which is worse, bring on 3rd place...cunts.

I see us as more nervous than arrogant, which if true is bizarre when the core of this side have won every domestic trophy in the last three years. I'd also say too many players are satisfied with a League Cup win.

Which ever it's not fucking good enough, we have hundreds of millions of pounds in talent and they bottle it, can't see Chelsea or Liverpool fucking up like us tonight.

I our problem is psychological, we beat Bayern away with our second team. I think we haven't been the same since Chelsea beat us a few weeks ago, a game we could have won but didn't and it completely took the wind out of our sails. We lost to the poorest Barca side for 7 or 8 years by being scared of them. We just didn't get stuck in against Wigan, period. We were destroying Arsenal and just sat back and invited them to get a draw and could have lost it. We completely outplay United and win in a canter because they are shit at the moment. Don't get me going regarding the Liverpool game, i just make these observations....... Never play anyone who is not 100% fit except someone who is coming back from injury where its inevitable, if you do you will pay for it. I'd rather have a fit Lescot or Richards than a Vinny who is patently injured.
I just doubt whether the belief is there. They don't have the mental capacity any more to find a way to win the really big games. We need a Nigel De Jong type player, I really think he had a huge positive influence on our attitude in lots of crucial games whereas Garcia and Fernandhino are just not in that league they're good players but not leaders and even Ya Ya who often is sublime is too often playing completely without influence. I think we miss Nige more than we know.
While its still mathematically possible to win it I will still dream. I would definitely give some EDS players some game time though, Lopes at least.
Anyway rant over, lets congratulate Sunderland as they were actually unlucky not to get all three points and stuff West Brom next Monday.

I get the impression that we don't relish big occasions, we're cowed by them. We were overawed by the prospect of playing Barca (as you correctly say, we were scared of them), we were browbeaten at home to Bayern, we froze when Arsenal had a go at us, and we crumbled when we were faced by an in-form Liverpool. Maybe we should sign Liverpool's psychologist in the summer.

What a crap of morning rain, City out from race against fuckin Sunderland and by fault of players an manager, crap day this will be.I love Milner but worst performance EVER.Last two games Hart and Kompany are show me that their class that has a ceiling, or do Kompany can be WC player he can be crap, that i can't number time Wickham lost him last night (fuckin Wickham). The difference between the Kompany and say Nesta or Maldini is because they could also make mistake ,something could happen that cost us the game but not twice in a row, and not the matches of great importance and Hart is really an average of the keeper , he really is. Where was he on on that counter .Player have a angle you just cover your near post, but he was late with dive on that post. How many points he lost himself this season? Ten, twelve!! Pellegrini also guilty if you do not have Silva and Yaya, team do not start with the attackers out of shape and those who have just come back ,and see if you do and see the crap from first half you lead 1 0 u come back on 5 midfielders and save 3 pts. I hate it when Aguero played as bad and nobody mentions it.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I pretty much agree with all of this.

Our players have the ability some lack the backbone and mental strength needed.

Compare and contrast last night's non-performance with the way Liverpool attack their games; it's embarrassing to see our players walking through games when they should be taking it by the scruff of the neck and beat the shit out of it.

I am not a fan of this 'holistic approach' to handling players. I couldn't care less if the manager gives the players the occasional cuddle or remembers when their wives' birthdays are, they are grown men and should be capable of doing their job and carrying out instructions with gusto without the need to feel loved by the management team.
In recent weeks some have given far less than 100% effort and I believe this is because they have had so much warm fuzzy love from the boss that they no longer respect him or fear him.

One booking (Zabba) in a must win game says it all. I maybe wrong but getting the impression some of our 'stars' are saving themselves for the World Cup.

I honestly think the players are like spoilt little children, I mean they are on city TV being all pampered and fuckin treated like royalty, matchday the walk into the tunnel area and people have the fuckin doors open to them, open ur own fuckin doors!! Then they have specialised food after the game, the money they are on they are just spoilt babies, and any sort of criticism spit their dummies out
