Any time we scored he was always bouncing about the bench looking delighted to be part of a winning squad.

Top bloke.

Good luck and thanks Joleon.

Twice a Prem Lge champion, won every domestic honour, played and beat Bayern on their own patch and leaves us top.of the league.

The Kompany/Lescott pairing is the best Ive ever seen as a pair, in nearly 40 years watching City.

I'd probably agree with that.

Doyle/Watson would probably have been as good or better with modern coaching/training, but nothing else even comes close.

I think his age is a factor here.

I also think we are taking a gamble with Nastasic who looks on a downfall and has been far from reliable this season. But we have something lineup up. But i would have kept Lesco and not take a risk with Mengele, Mangala, etc.

On other side, really looks like a really emotional summer, innit?

Gazbaz, Lesco left and maybe Micah and Sergio will head out too. Normal decisions, but sad as fuck.

I agree to an extent, though Lescott is 31 and Barry is 33. Also Barry has never had a great deal of pace yet needs it to be in the middle of the park. With Lescott when his legs do go then at least statistically the majority of our games the ball is not in his area of the pitch so for the most part he would be only relying on pace for short bursts.

Let's not hide it anymore, there is a chance he might go this time. Barcelona, well, that cunt Messi is trying to bring him in, that was a clause in his contract, well, his new contract at Barcelona, bring Sergio in.

I think, Sergio might want to go, we all saw a different Sergio with WHU, frustrated, eager to score his last goal for the club, or at least that was the way he looked, plus his interviews at the parade and so on. I am not saying he will 100 % leave, but this summer there is a bigger chance of that happening than it was in the past seasons. This time there will be offers.

Full of respect for that man Lescott.
I have fond memories of the league win versus QPR when he brought the trophy to the South Stand and we sang to him. His joy was great to watch and readily shared with us.
He came again at the end this time without the trophy and more subdued but I still sang my heart out for him as he showed his respect and thanks to us.
It is how I expect some others to act (Mad Zabba and Vinnie) but not all
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Top man and a massively under-rated defender for us. Best of luck to him for the future.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

That cock Ferris asking him about his mistake in the QPR game and all the Blues in the Square singing 'Joleon Lescott, he's top of the League'.

Priceless.

Great video and, yet again, another touch of pure class from Manchester City. More of the shit that will go unrecognised by the Meeja
