I'm amazed commentators keep up the pretense United are in any sort of title race. Its a two horse race and they are nowhere close.

Not even just because of points, they just plain aren't good enough and will finish with a little over 70 points. 20 odd behind probably.

Are they usually this shit on the ball ? I thought they were ok. It's like watching Barnsley.

Sorry Ted haven't watched Barnsley since I was seeing a girl from there about 2000 lol

Pleased Townsend is off. His final ball is appalling.

Really was. He's really impressed me technically. Thought he was gonna be another Crouch type or sumat but there seems more to his game than that.

Given how terrible Spurs were in the first half I'd take the 0-0 I guess.

Does that mean they're now officially out of the title race?

Good game for the Rags 1st half, good game for Spurs in the 2nd. Overall an even result which I'll take.

Onto Chelsea now.

I thought Kane was MotM for his all around play but as usual Little Mickey Owen gave it in favour of the Rags being excellent, ie. Lloris. He then even went for Mata who I thought was rather average.

Mmmh i was hoping that Spurs would nick it so that a Soton win would put them ahead of the rags.

Moyes' rags were no less a team than these rags. It's just the way the oppo are performing against them.

When you see those two, Arsenal should be ashamed of themselves. But then you watch Arse at Anfield...

No, it just means that the headlines will be about Chelsea winning and scum dropping points in their title pursuit.

Spurs are a very middling side and in that first half should have been 3 or 4 down as they would have been to City or Chelsea. The 2nd half they got more sorted and stopped Young getting on the ball and the scum looked poor. Maybe having Xmas day off caught up on them.

At first I was sure we will not hear from him after first few weeks but he has then started to impress me.

Regarding the game, I was genuinely surprised Spuds didn't just roll over again. They seem to always do that vs rags (or is it just that they're so poor?)

What do you mean mate? I thought they kept up the pressure on their only title rivals chelsea with a very good point away at a difficult ground?

Nice one by Saints , now hold on .
