Yeah he's one of those players that if available you'd really hope the club wades in with a serious offer.

He's already such a good player it's easy forget he's only 21 years of age.

Why ?

He's the only player who we can sign who fits the bill ?

If it's true & he's a cunt, he can fuck off. I don't think he's so good we can't do better.

sadly we could use us some Isco right now too.

He's got to be feeling shit tho with James basically taking the role he's best suited for as well, doesn't he?

cheers

No he won't.

Why would he want to go to a fucking laughing stock of a club who had no faith in him in the first
place?

That's twice in this thread you've tried to say the rags will prevail.

You're making it more obvious with every post.

I give this rag a week tops.

Saw Pogba play in Qatar the other week in the Italian Super Cup, Juve and Napoli both had full strength teams out, and he was arguably after Tevez, head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch that night.

Considering the players on show, to stand out like that at only 21 marks you out as pretty special. His anticipation of play was first rate both defensively and offensively, and he seemed to be the only player who was sharp enough to be on Tevez' wavelength, which would bode well for him playing with Aguero AND linking our pedestrian defensive midfield to attack.

He is a 'must sign' for me, although I said that about Fabregas last year and we weren't even at the races for him which was a disappointment given that we did have money to spend, arguably spending it in the wrong places.

Just looking at the rule there, it seems you're right, it's either 3 full seasons or 36 months before you turn 21.

Does this mean that Pogba doesn't have 'association grown' status anywhere? As he doesn't fit the criteria in any one association as far as I can make out.

The restrictions on CL squad size come off next year so we can bring him in with no problem. We may also choose to sell one or two overseas players to help fund a purchase.

Juventus don't want to sell but the General manager's comments that they won't be able to match wage offers made by other Clubs looks like they're softening up fans for a sale. there will be a huge scramble for him though and he'll go for a very large sum plus very expensive wage package. We need to go the extra mile for him and even that might not be enough. If Real really want him they'll be hard to beat. For me he's the best young player out there. Maybe Patrick Vieira can help get him. He's a similar sort of player and there can be no higher praise.

Where's the youtube clip? I want one!
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

No may about it if we want to bring him in. We currently have 17 non association grown with the arrival of Bony, so someone has to make way.

Agreed, but what a very strange thing for the Juve hierarchy to come out with during a winter Transfer window? I really don't understand the need to say such a thing ever, even worse during a transfer window. Have Fiat stopped bank rolling them?

All I could see when reading that was, we are ready to listen to offers now and you have just under 2 weeks to come and get him.

In which case we might be able to get Reus after all but Chelsea probably want him too to replace Schurrle.

It looks to me as if we are signing that other French lad. The way Txiki has tended to work; we have heard these strong rumours in Jan each time, then we actually sign the player(s) in the summer. The talk of Ladoodah has been very strong.

Probably then Jovetic (or Ed or both) will leave, so that does give us a possible 'in' with Juve regarding Pogba/Jovetic, if Real don't actually go in for him.

Barca can't, so it would be between us & the rags, perhaps Chelsea, (but ffp may stop them if it still exists).

This is the typical situation where Real step in & use their status to sign the latest new toy that all the other kids want though.
