There's no Bosnian spastic thread?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Really? You forget the one thing he always does well?

His left hand channel runs and beating his man are one of his best assets. Rather he stayed central, but it does allow Nasri and Silva to trail the play and get the cut back.

Tbf, his dribbles did not come of very often. He can dribble well but most of the times, he'd just run into the opposing player and lose the ball. Over the last season or so he's changed his behaviour a lot and instead of going for broke, he'll cut back instead and feed the ball into midfield and take up a new position to receive the ball again. I'd say his ability to determine a situation and avoid the likelihood of him just stumbling into the oppo player has improved a lot.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Always maintained my faith in him even when he's so frustrating I can't help but come on here and pay out.

The only reason we should ever get rid of him, is so we can get rid of the Bosnian leeches that attached themselves to us.

I agree he's great at it, i just forget how good he actually can be at it. My point is that there isn't really anything he doesn't have when he puts his mind to it.

What I was meaning is that this season may not be down to sulking. In the past, it certainly has, but I thought he started this season full of effort, then suddenly went completely unacceptably shite.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that 'perhaps' on this occasion it was down to carrying an injury & soldiering on, rather than not giving a shit.

Pellegrini will know the reasons I should imagine, but if it was injury & he has now setlled down & is going to always give 100%, I would deffo keep him at City next season. He could be a revelation. But if it was pure lack of effort or sulking which caused him to play like that, I would get shot of him next season, even if he scores 10 goals now; whilst he still commands a good fee.

Oh i know, i get ya and its the fair thing to do. I was just talking about other times in the previous years when we know its not injury and just pure mardyness - cos that has definitely happened. Usually as a reaction to being dropped for one game or something sulky.

If we have this Dzeko always he's one of the best strikers in the league - he's actually better than Boy in that all round form imo. A potentially nice problem to have though.

The use of the word spastic in the title is totally inappropriate. This is an offensive and abusive term to those with disability. Have some decency and change it.

I'm fairly certain you mean mental disability.

Although if you are including all disabilities, I'm not offended.

No I mean in general. The term is derogatory and is a term of abuse and prejudice against those with disability, in general.

Not wanting to be politically correct but in a week that has shamed Chelsea and a section of its fans do we really want, indeed need, to use such terms to make a point.

So presumably we all need to retract our comments regarding Mourinho being a mental case or referring to a ref as blind ? Or are these things considered less important ?

I won't be changing the thread title for a few reasons.

Firstly, calling someone who clearly isn't disabled, a spastic, is highly unlikely to be particularly offensive to him, (rather important given he is the one being called a spastic wouldn't you say?).

Secondly, I have a serious physical disability - I don't find the term
Spastic, spaz, spacker, cripple etc offensive, and friends frequently (and often inappropriately) call it me when they see me walking with crutches or walking with difficulty without them, so please don't pretend to speak for people 'with disability' - you don't. As a person 'with disability' I actually find your patronising and labelling rather offensive in itself.

Finally, the term is not me randomly calling him a spastic, it is an ironic reference to a comment another poster made about Dzeko some time ago (As explained in my 2nd post on this thread) I appreciate if you didn't see the original thread this refers to, you don't get that context.

However, if you're so easily offended that you feel the strong need to post for the first time since November 2012 to complain about another post, despite all the wonderful things at city you could have commented on in the 2 years since your last post, perhaps you have your priorities somewhat wrong for being a member of a manchester city forum.

Of course if the lads feel I've overstepped the mark, they are more than welcome to change the thread title

I'm sure that many potentially regular posters are 'put off' contributing to this forum due to your disgusting disrespect for the disabled and your ranting racism.
I've contributed donations to this site in the past but I decided that I wouldn't sponsor again until the mods get people who are an embarrassment to the club (racist bigots like you) off the forum.
Does that help quell your wonderment at why someone who rarely uses the forum might suddenly pop up and have a pop at you for being the dreg that you are?

You'd be better off supporting chelsea because you'd be amongst 'friends' there.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

I'm disabled you fucking moron. You do not speak for me, neither does your professionaly offended pal.

As for racism, now you are just making yourself look fucking pathetic. Racist, for labelling a Bosnian.....Bosnian! What a cunt I am!

This has to qualify as one of the most hysterical over reactions I've ever seen written on this site.

Kolarov lost the ball in the 2nd half when attacking, and next thing I see is Kolarov jogging back and Dzeko was defending at left back. I've never, ever seen a full game performance quite as good as that from Dzeko.

This is the sort of shit he can turn out when he puts the effort in, and today he was virtually unplayable and looked like an absolute worldy. When you have that much talent, why you don't have the right attitude to use it week in, week out just stuns me.

Yes it was a great performance yesterday. When he first joined us I was amazed at his lack of coordination, given his reputation for scoring goals. Over time I have just learned to accept his bad points because he does score crucial goals. It does look like his attitude is terrible at times, but when he talks about the club and football he just does nt seem the type who would be half hearted. He's an enigma to me but I'm glad we have got him.

Quite frankly I find your remarks personally offensive.

It is totally irrelevant whether or not you have a disability or whether or not you think the remarks are offensive.

You are a coward making them hidden behind a keyboard. If not removed within 24 hours I will report the thread to the police, you were asked nicely.

It is because of the offensive nature of the thread title thatI posted.

Call my bluff and you will regret it, that is my promise to you - you will get a knock on you door from the police.

Do the decent thing and remove hate is hate even if you are just repeating what others said, same for racism you repeat it YOU offend.
