So according to chuckle brother on talk site city fans can't relate to big games against the likes of Barcelona as we are still more in tune with games again Gillingham. WHAT A FUCKING CUNT

Milner and Fernando as our CMs with Aguero and Dzeko up top. Errrr.... Why the fuck is Fernandinho on the bench?

Very surprised. 4-4-2 with Fernandinho on the bench is very surprising. Barca aren't the tallest so Dzeko may be a threat at set pieces.

Not sure anyone got that team. Guess Dinho knackered?? How many times have Milner and Fernando played centre mid together ? (Unless he puts Nasri there)

Amazed at that line up. He's fucked it up again just like last year. Chasing shadows again.

Shocking 4-4-2. The Newcastle match gave Pellegrini too much confidence.

Fernando Milner
Silva Nasri
Dzeko Aguero

Neymar Suarez Messi

Could argue its 4-1-3-2. Fernando sitting with a central midfield of Milner on the left Nasri on the right and Silva floating into the pockets behind the front two. Requires full backs to push up. I just hope we don't play too high a line with Vinny and MDM. Bricking it to be fair. Not sure he's got this right. Fingers crossed. Come on City!

maybe Pellers is going for a tight back 6, with the rest setup on the break.... anyways I'm bricking it majorly right now

My optimitic guess is 3-2 City Aguero hat trick

COME ON CITY!

I think its only fair to say I think the manager is an idiot. I'm saying this so there is no benefit of hindsight if we do get done, and if the system works fair play to him. But I think that selection is laughable.

B let's give it a chance before we write him off

Against Newcastle, Dzeko played off the striker, IT WASN'T 442 and he was often found in midfield and sometimes even in defence.

If we get the same work rate out of Dzeko, and aguero puts the yards in, the midfield will cope. Barcelona only have 4 players in that lineup who will look to cross the half way line

A strange one to choose to finally trust jimmy in the centre though.

As if we would be certain not to lose with any other 11.

Have we ever won a game with Aguero as lone striker, just in the interest of balance ?

Think we are going to fall into a 433/4321 formation with nasri dropping back to help the centre mids and Silva and one of the front 2 dropping deeper. It could be planned that way or we could be forced to go that way.

How well it will work depends on how high we can keep the backline and how quickly we can close them down and break on attacks

Not surprised he went for the two up, either one or both will have to drop deep and work their bollocks off if they don't its goodnight and good luck.

Very shocked that fernando gets the nod ahead of Fernandinho and thought we would have seen lampard in ahead of Dzeko to give the extra number in Middle. I'm sure the count knows a lot more than I about these players but I fear the midfield pairing of Milner and fernando will get overrun.
