Me, and this is why...
Hart
Zaba Komps Mang Kol
Fern 1
Milner Yaya Nasri Silva
Aguero
Fern 1 protects the back 4. Our midfield has technical ability, and can retain possession.
Barca will not be expecting MP to change his tactics, and we have ......Agueroooooooo.
Barca 2 - City 3.
(The biggest obstacle is the ref, and what would UEFA's sponsors think of Messi not making the Quarters? Hmm? Hmm?)

Haha I admire your optimism

Has the team been announced?
I'd be happy with that team but would prefer Navas to Nasri.
Navas and Milner offer more cover for our full backs than when he plays Silva and Nasri wide.
I'm assuming Silva will play in the pocket behind Aguero.

But really two season in row we get UEFALONA.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

You could argue that that's bascially just 4-4-2 ha. Silva as one of the two, Fern and Yaya in central midfield and Navas and Milner out wide.

Start with just ten men on the pitch. Then when one of ours gets sent off we just bring the other man back on so we don't see it as a disadvantage!!!

just start with yaya and we'll effectively only have 10 anyway
when zabba gets sent off, throw caution to the wind and rather than chucking on a defender to fill in at right back tell yaya to play a more attacking role - the only time he comes alive

I think Carl should be reassigned for tonight & taken off Kompany.

Perhaps use him v Zabba if he plays, or Silva.

It is deffo 4-4-2.

It's the kind of 442 we play, when people think were playing 5 in midfield.

Absolutely, the most obvious example of this is when we played Munich away last season. Dzeko was partnered by Silva up front and the latter was further forward than the former throughout.

Hmm? Hmm?)

It might change the mentality of our players till the end of the season which would help in the league. It wouldn't change my thoughts on what the club needs to do next though, which is a couple of astute replacements for a couple of our big-time Charlies.
