Get a win on Monday and 5th spot will be a cab ride away.

If Saints & Spurs win this weekend it will leave them 5 and 6 points behind respectively. Still no guarantee seeing as we've still got to play them both but we do have a little breathing space incase we have one of those days.

We need to finish top 3, not top 4.

If we finish 4th, we can get teams like Valencia, Leverkusen or Napoli. Even if we are better than all of them, we all know how weird we are in Europe.

We need to be aiming for first, not just top 4, it's just that top 4 is becoming more guaranteed.

Exactly, Beef.

However, can we hope that Yaya, Nasri and other players that were shit can pull together and have a last go in the end of the season? I don't know, i don't see them doing that.

Well, if they can't play for the shirt then Pellers has got to be strong enough and drop them.

Didn't he do it to Nasri & Fernandinho as well. Either way, he's got to grow some if they aren't performing.

Pellegrini is fighting for his job next season. Ancelotti may well be available if Real don't win the League. 4th place isn't good enough FFS. If we win the next two we'll be favourites for second. If.

QPR 3-1 up away at WBA. Did not foresee that scoreline. Assume the Sky wankathon over Brendan has now ended for a few weeks, or was he just really unlucky.lol

i thought Nasri was injured. maybe you're right. but i def agree that Pellegrini needs to sack up and bench the under-performers

Another nothing performance from the rags, against a less than nothing opposition.

What they have produced this season, should not have been enough to get top 4. They really have been let off the hook.

Well that's Southampton still 8 behind and us with a game in hand. If Burnley get even a draw off Spurs tomorrow - very feasible - then a win for us on Monday and its all but sewn up. We'd basically have to win our 4 home games and that would out us on 76 Pts if we beat Palace. Liverpool & the rest can't reach that figure even if they win all of their last 7 games, which they won't btw.

Yes we've been piss poor this season but we'd have to collapse completely to finish outside the top 4. With our remaining fixtures, I like our chances of 4th at worst.
