Just an idea; there were rumours of Uwe meeting up with some of our brass not long ago; could he be one of the managers, like Ronny Deila, who has been influenced by City's methods & therefore seen as a safe place for us to loan players ?

A relationship with Leeds in that respect would be great for us & for them, as they would probably pick up the odd bargain from our academy that we couldn't keep & we would get some of our young players tested at a proper club, in proper games, with a manager we can trust.

And they can knock us out of the FA Cup.

Uwe scored the first goal I ever saw City score. Probably my second-favourite player ever.

Leeds are pretty much a solid #2 as far as "personal hatred for clubs."

Hmmmmmmmm.......

Love of Uwe > Hatred of Leeds for me. But only just. Hopefully he will do a solid enough job to get himself somewhere better without getting them back up to the top flight.

Uwe sacked.

Madness at that club but hard to feel sympathy for anyone who supports them, I'm afraid. It's a nce pay-off for Uwe though and i can go back to disliking dirty leeds again. Lovely.

That tit is now looking for his sixth manager in two years. I might give it a shot myself - multi-million pound compensation for a few week's work - I like the sound of it.

12 games 2 wins 6 draws and 4 losses isnt a great record for Uwe when you have trigger happy chairmen

Old habits die hard for this guy, his record at Cagliari was 36 managers in 22 years.........

Uwe did well to last that long, Darko Milanic lasted less than two months, and I think David Hockaday had 3 months, most of which was pre-season!
