Eleanos free kick bombs esp the one v Newcastle
Adebayor's Run
Barton's shite goals that last season of Pearce. Fucking relief all of them, the cunt.
Bianchi vs West Ham. Man I thought we had someone special.
Garido and his free kick "expertise." Was it Liverpool that he blasted the first one in against?
Tevez's life saving goals in that first championship season for this group after he returned from the Knights Watch.
That Michael Johnson goal vs Derby. What a tragic ending for the kid. Sad stuff.

Cheers

The 3-1 derby win in jan 06 was like a week before I came home for the 1st time and I was sat watching at whatever silly time and went fucking mental and then just had this surreal feeling that I was coming home. I literally stayed up until the next morning playing fifa and buzzing for my trip.

Our three goals against Newcastle in 2007, with Petrov on fire, Mpenza heading in one of the weirdest headers I've ever seen (although I can't say why) and Elano's freekick
Agüero's debut but especially that last goal
Kelvin Etuhu's 4-2 in extra time to seal the deal against Bolton
The away goal at Hamburg, the away section went mad, I thought I was going to get crushed
Whenever an academy player gets a chance
When Gelson Fernandes had a good game (I so seriously wanted him to become a star for us, for some reason)
Silva's dribble in the Blackpool penalty area before scoring
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

That Bolton game is another of mine.

What about Ireland's two last min goals to keep out undefeated streak going? Both top drawer, if memory serves one wasa sick volley after a hoof upfield.

Also kasper saving the penalty at arsenal.

SWP scoring the last goal when we beat the rags at the Etihad 4-1 (I think), the Niall Quinn goalkeeping show mentioned above, the 1-0 win over the rags at Wembley after passing all their '34 years'-bedecked buses on the way down the M6, the even better 1-0 home win over them the following season, when Vinnie jumped what seemed like 20 feet in the air after his header and I was sure we would go on to win the league, little dreaming what we should have to go through to get there!

A win over Stoke at home in the real 3rd division which kick-started our drive to the famous play-off win was good too - I remember Goater tackling someone just after half time, which seemed to turn the whole atmosphere round. I also enjoyed the two wins at home under Keegan with ten men, Norwich and Milwall, in one of which we so completely dominated them it seemed we had 12 men not ten. Then there was a bizarre moment in the 5-1 defeat at Fulham when all the City away fans started to watch a game on a park behind the stands because it was better than what was on the pitch!

So many good times, despite the relative lack of success.

Yes, you're right. The little cunt cost me well over a grand as I'd backed Fowler for first goalscorer and 3-1....the worst betting disaster for me since Tiatto's disallowed goal at boro

The ball bobbled impossibly down the touchline, it MUST have gone out of play, I was certainly willing it out as we'd already won the game, but as he cut inside I just knew I was fucked. An absolutely fantastic goal, capping a great Derby performance.

A far less remembered one for most no doubt, is Mark Kennedy, picked the ball up in our own half, dribbled through half the Bolton side and smashed it in from about 25 yards. Having backed Kennedy/1.0 I went fucking mental. I was brought down to earth quickly as I got punched in the head from several directions, as I was in the Bolton end at the reebok. Was even funnier watching it back on Soccer night on the Monday.....a lone blue going mad in a sea of morbid cunts.

City's last League game in the 1971/72 season, at home to Derby.

Rodney Marsh ran the show and was absolutely brilliant as City finished as 2-0 winners. We only ended up in fourth spot in that campaign but I couldn't wait for the next one to start on the basis of the display that day.

Sadly, the 1972/73 season was somewhat disappointing by comparison.

For lighting up a mundane game with a moment of breathtaking brilliance, Kinky against Southampton.
All away wins are treasured, but scoring twice in the last seven minutes at Leeds to win 2-1 from one down. (Parlane and Baker maybe) Nice.
Also an early season win at Spurs with two goals from Graham Baker. We had been hanging on at 1-0 for ages when he executed the most bizarre chip over the keeper. When he tried it, there were groans from the away end, but it bounced once and then the net rippled. The place went nuts.
Tricky Trevor's debut at Stoke. Unbelievable scenes.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
