Great read also!

Amazing how many ? we have again to start the season, and little or irritating injuries/illnesses affecting us. Will Kun, Silva and Nasri be healthy by then too? Will be very interesting to see how we line up. Will we go with the 433 4521 or old school 442/4222? I know we're quite fluid, but still...

If they are healthy....maybe

Feel we could also see Sterling instead for Nacho and Navas out wide instead.

Very well written. well done.

Cant wait to see the team selection on Monday evening.
Who plays upfront is not clear cut, will nacho get his chance? have a feeling he will, although MP may play the 'safe card' and push sterling central.
Don't think Denayer will start, cant see him playing him ahead of mangler, not in this one anyway.

I've a sneaky suspicion we will start we Nacho Sterling and Silva in a rotating front three and bring Kun on with half an hour to go if needs be

I think you could be right about that starting line up, that defence worries the fuck out of me though. I only hope Manuel told Vinny to play that bad against Stuttgart, to show a false dawn (probably wishful thinking from me)

Thanks a lot for that Bobby, that's got the juices flowing nicely. Typical City, I'm up in Manchester Monday and we're playing away!

Stopping at Sport city Travelodge, Has anyone any recommendations of where I can watch the game within 5-10 mins walk? I'm not overly familiar of that side of town.

Only Clichy and Delph not fit for Monday. All the others should be fit according to MP. I'm a bit surprised but that's good news.

Will it be on in any of the matchday pubs? The Townley? Mary D's? The Corner Shop? The met will have you in town in 2 minutes and the one place I'd go is the Tib Street Tavern (although it'll probably be packed!)

Thanks Bobby, but need to be close to hotel, as will have 84yr old mum in tow, we're up for a family funeral so town centre too far, unless sisters sort mum out and I can slope off, not sure if details as don't fly home until tomorrow night from holibobs.

Pellegrini says Delph needs a couple of weeks to get fully fit but seen enough to know he will be important player.

i hope Aguero only gets like 25 mins or so. we don't want to rush him before he's ready and lose him to yet another muscle injury

There are PL season preview shows airing today and tomorrow, in many countries. Has anyone been watching any good preview shows?

City are the only team that has remained in the PL Top 2, for the past 4 seasons... Long may City rule the #1 spot, for the title!

I'll second the Tib Street Tavern. Fantastic place with good food, great owner, albeit a bit small a easy to fill (popular as Bobby inferred). Wherever you end up enjoy.
