You left the Nike logo on. Doh! Get a German cat on there or even that queer, and I mean absolutely strange, New Balance logo instead. Or adidas.

Cheers

Basically the one before the eagle badge but I'm not fussy if we update the colour tones to a more modern theme.

I didn't think we could go back to the rose because someone else owned the rights to it and refused to sell? That's why it changed in the first place, no?

I must be one of the few who are not that bothered about the Rose. It's a Lancashire County thing and the boundaries have changed. Keep the 3 rivers
Irk, Irwell and Medlock. And squeeze the St Marks cross in there somewhere.

I like and prefer the older style circular badges, but why change from the current one. Surely the current one is well recognised world wide now, corporate image and all of that. Why the need for change.

The club will never go back to the old badge because it can't be trademarked.

This. All day long this. Never cared about our Lancashire rose, but to me the three stripes/rivers is Manchester.

In case you missed it last night, Manchester City have invited supporters to decide whether they should retain the current club badge or sanction a re-design.

Blues have argued on and off over the merits of the three designs which the team has worn on their chests – and some still hanker after a return to the circular badge from the 1960s.

And City are now entering into a four-week consultation process to gauge the views of fans, as to what symbol want to represent the club.

The current badge was adopted in 1997 because the previous one was ineligible for registration as a trademark.

I love the rose. Manchester is now and always has been culturally Lancastrian. I've always tended to put Greater Manchester ahead of Lancashire for my address, but being in GM doesn't preclude still being a part of the historical county of Lancashire. The only unifying features of Greater Manchester are a tram network, emergency services and co-ownership of an airport.

Manchester is in Greater Manchester, the majority of which (including Manchester) is still Lancashire as far as I'm concerned.

quite like the look of that, but don't really have a problem with the current one except, I think it should be embroidered directly onto the shirt and not stuck on a shield.

The three stars look alright but should mean you've won something significant so maybe replace them with one Maltese cross, for those that really despise them.

If they are dead set on going back to the round look, the top one gets my vote.
