Plus ducking one John and FBD

and as I said before, it's not the new fans but the old ones who are most eye catching. You kinda expect a 15 year old who just started supportIng City to be emotional and have no perspective. Not the ones who've seen what it can be like.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I'm still happy that we can string more than 3 passes together and create more than 1 chance! The most entertaining thing at some games use to be the comical abuse being shouted at the opposition (and our own players) from the kippax. I hardly ever hear it anymore...!

Very long way to go in the league. I still have my pre- Sheikh mentality ie chuffed to bits that we're at home to a championship team in a cup qf
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

We are doing neither but that is the goal of the owners and the directors. Anything less wont do, end of.

What the fuck have we become?

Yep, starting to sound like those twats in Stretford.

TGR, with getdressedmctavish and yourself tied for second. Don't mess around with any of that "kumbaya" bullshit and just tells it like it is. All of you really put the 'support' in supporter. Congrats

Do you get double points if you support two teams?

All supporters are the same. I was talking to a colleague, a very decent Gunners fan, today, and he was blaming Wenger for picking players who got injured in the CL and writing their hopes off. I told him, if you are 5 points or less off the top in February, it's all still on.

I know we all get depressed or excited after a result, but really the season is all still to play for.

The days of remembering where we were in 99 are well and truly gone. We are a global team. We are in the top 5 earners in the world of football. We have the richest football owner on the planet.

Our goals should match our rise. The management team aim for the top and we as fans also should be in tow with them. However, the pretentious twats that think we should have it without working for it or that we should just do better because we spend more, need a good kicking.

The apathy amongst fans is a problem imo.

No harm in aiming for the top and we should be considering what we have, but we should never lose sight of where we have come from in terms of the rollercoaster ride over the years including the dark days of the 90's its very much part of our identity as well as our history - which is pretty much what you are saying.

We should be 9 points clear. Just being top isn't really good enough. There is very little excuse for our form blip. Injuries maybe, but we have a squad of worldies in theory.

We should never lose a game ever again! A manager should be sacked if we draw! They are on thin ground if we win by 2 goals or less. Nothing less than 4 goals per game will do.

We have no device right to win every game. Pellers has made mistakes and players have gone missing. We need to put toget her a run like the one following the Derby at the swamp last season we need to make a statement.

It's almost as is football is an unpredictable game where even the best players and coaches can lose to "inferior" teams on the right day...

"We should be top of the league by 9 points"

Just so you know, every other team in the league thinks they should have a few more points as well.

"Just being top isn't really good enough"

Yeah, why have we even allowed anyone to score against us! No player should ever get injured either! Aguero should have 10 more gold this year! The Chinese should inves at least a billion! What the fuck is going on, sack everyone!

Some of you are getting dangerously close to this guy:

I still think we will. If we have an uninjured squad in the new year I think we will see football to savour and will rap up this league before May.

God where did that optimism come from....
I think against a not too impressive Hull tonight. I saw enough balance and creativity return to get my hopes up.
