Tyler commentated on many of Neville's finest moments during his playing days with Manchester United and paid tribute to his love of football as he embarks on his first job in full-time management.

Fucking hell has he died?

Soon hopefully.

He's a good pundit. Despite being a rag, he's full of common sense.

I imagine if the rags want to appoint a former player, Neville would be a better candidate for them than Giggs.

Peter Lim, the Valencia owner, (and a fan of the rags), owns the image rights to Ronaldo and 50% of Salford City. Does that increase the likelihood lady boy will re-join the rags in the future?

Neville gives Insightful analysis. However, hindsight is 20/20 and this is what he provides. He won't have that luxury any more.

Silly me. Neville is not in charge tonight yet. AND they play Barcelona this weekend. Therefore Mr Neville has decided he isn't manager until after that game. Lmfao. What a useless gutless twat

Wow, but the wankfest is out of reach.

So many "emotional" stories on Sky.

It wouldn't surprise me if the thinking on this from Neville's part is that IF he impresses sufficiently and Van Gaal keeps churning out shite and barely scrapes top four, then himself and Giggs could land the main job.

If he doesn't impress or the opportunity doesn't present itself, he can always go back to the day job and say "We all knew it was only temporary... blah blah"

Quite clever really, if I'm right.

Neville and common sense...interesting. Wasn't it Neville that coined the phrase "on the edge of offside"? The guy is a fuckin moron that has showed his true colours over the past year or so. He's sat next to Jamie fuckin Carragher. Jack the Ripper would come out glowing with praise sat next to that tool.

I like Gary Neville. I find him honest, yeah he's a rag but at least he's a proper rag. He will only love the rags like I love city, nothing wrong with that. Interesting to see how he gets on.

Do you not think that because he's a proper rag that means he can't be honest? When we played them this season and he was commentating; when one of their players was offside he used the phrase "he's on the edge of offside". So he's offside then Dot. I know if they put me on TV and told me to commentate on a City-rag match I wouldn't be honest.

I've got similar feelings. I was at the Swamp when he ran over to our corner in his tracksuit (he was on the bench) and celebrated their late winner. It was probably that Owen goal in 2009, thinking about it. At the time I absolutely despised the twat; thinking now in hindsight, I would love to be able to give their fans shit in a similar way.

Since he stopped playing, he's carved out a career as a good analyst, a good coach (ostensibly; Hodgson likes him), and that gesture towards the Manchester homeless was top class.

Who would have believed five years ago that, by the end of 2015, we'd be living in a world in which Oscar Pistorius is one of the biggest bell-ends around, and Gary Neville isn't even in the top 500?

Roland's career at Valencia is of no interest to me at all. I find his loathsome little ferret face highly offensive.

I do wonder what the Valencia fans think of it all though.

He is a genuine dyed in the wool rag so it is very hard to like the guy or wish him any kind of success.
It's gonna be difficult when he is the next England manager though because me thinks that very well maybe his
long term game plan...
