In recent era, Daniel Van Boyten and Tevez, oh and Colin Bell wouldn't go a miss right now in the team

Tevez, Boateng and Negredo would all improve the matchday squad right now. Trickier with a keeper, you can't have 2 first choices. I wouldn't complain if we could get Pirlo and Villa for a few weeks.

Sturridge is the only one you could say "is the one that got away" so has to be him. Interesting nobody has said Milner...

I am sticking by my beliefs and say that we shouldn't sign any player from the past, even if they had served the club. While Roberto Mancini had played a part in the whole Tevez saga, it doesn't let him off the hook either as he had shitted on the club when we needed him the most his first transfer request was in the middle of the season when we were pushing for qualifying for the Champions League and he was Captain. Sturridge has ability but is too injury prone to be considered cover for Kun.

Course we shouldn't, but Carlotto and Bellers in their pomp sounds really mouth watering at the moment.

Kun and Carlitos (although he did redeem himself in his final season) partnership didn't quite work in 2012-13. With Bellers there would be concerns with his fitness and would be spending time next to Kompany on the treatment table.

I did say in their pomp. Bellers must be drawing a pension by now!

Bellers was injury prone in his pomp and had the reputation for being difficult to manage. He did well in his brief career at City under Hughes, but was another player who Roberto Mancini fell out with.

All very true, but I loved him playing for us as much as I hated him when he was playing for someone else.

I know where you are coming from but balance is the key. And for all our side's current faults we do have some balance and they are winners (although Yaya and his sidekick needs to pipe down between now until the end of the season for us to have a chance of winning the league).

Trippier is the only one I can think of that may be any use to us.

Negredo lost his mojo in January 2014. 0 goals for City after that West Ham match, 1 in 10 in La Liga so far this season, 5 in 30 last season. Surely, even Bony's harshest critics would prefer him over this shadow of a footballer.

I knew he wasn't killing it but Jesus navas that's a Torres level decline right there

The Negredo for Valencia I saw on Sunday was a sad sight.

It's not going back but we've apparently actually signed a bloke and with no transfer thread I've no idea where to mention it.

Trevor Francis, would add the pace we need and wouldn't look out of place on our injury list.
