I'd have went with Sagna and Clichy at full back hut happy with the team otherwise. Hope Sterling is allowed to roam from the right.

Why? Especially Sagna over Zabba

Leicester are very solid defensively and Zabba's runs will help create that extra bit of space for our creative players.

We are at home, no point in choosing the possibly better defensive option at RB imo. (or LB for that matter)

That's about as good a team as we can put out in the circumstances.

Nothing against Leicester, like, but come on City let's put these to the sword. I'd like the lads to score enough goals that the cheating bald munich bastard highly impartial chap with the whistle can't do any damage.

Place your bets, who gets (wrongly) sent off today so they miss the tottenham game/League Cup final. I am going to go for Fernandinho.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Nacho would be my impact sub if needed for this one. Let's not get all negative and play Fernando, we don't keep clean sheets with him we just stop attacking.

Spot on sir !

Exactly.

And man to man we should beat these. Just saw the teams side by side in twitter and I highligted with blue which I'd prefer on each pair. Looks pretty much in City's favour wouldn't you say?
Hart - Schmeichel
Zabaleta - Simpson
Oamendi - Morgan
MDM - Huth
Kolarov - Fuchs
Toure - Mahrez
Fernandinho - Kante
Silva - Drinkwater
Delph - Albrighton
Sterling - Okazaki
Aguero - Vardy

Sagna and Clichy have more pace. Simple as that. Zaba has looked better than he was last season but he's still playing himself in. Kolarov is Kolarov and will cost us a goal today.

I presume Delph will play left central midfield so can help out when Kolarov disappears on his left wing forays. You could make an argument for Sagna instead of MDM because his extra pace will help counter Vardy. We'll miss de Bruyne as an option but there's nothing to be done about that.
