With the Dippers having to field a strong team tonight, I'd be more than happy to put out the same team as last night. Saying that, we may not even have the choice.

To be fair Beefy, he's tried that formation a few times this season but with Delph doing on the left what Dinho did on the right last night, it hasn't worked previously but worked a treat last night.

The difference was that Delph stayed out on the left and usually to counter a specific threat whereas Fern not only went down the right, he was covering in the middle as well as getting in the box.

I suspect that was the intention with Delph too, he just didn't perform as well.

I think Pellegrini does it to free Silva up - it stops Silva having to think about playing wide too much (especially defensively) so he can do what he does best, which is find space (mainly in the centre).

I think it's Michael Oliver

Yes that's what I heard to CM. Just glad it's not you know who.

No chance of a penalty whatsoever, then.

We need to put out the same team as last night for this. But we won't.

Why don't you think it'll be the same team? There's not a lot we could do differently based on who's available

I'd put money on him sticking with Caballero, as he played Pants in the final last time.

Not too sure about that. After last week's performance there is ample potential for making everybody concerned look silly if Willy is picked. Maybe ferran and Txiki will lay the law down?

Manuel is a man of his word, reneging on sticking his Willy in could have an advers affect on the squad.

I think the Jovetic axing from the CL squad last season caused unrest, could see a similar situation with this goalkeeper question to be honest.

I think he is going to play Big Willie, but he has the option of claiming he is injured and therefor has to play Joe ...don't think it's going to happen though

If Caballero played 10 or 12 games in a row I'm sure we'd see what a good 'keeper he is. With him only getting a game here and there, however, he has at least 3 serious mistakes in him per game. It'll make for unpleasant watching if Pellegrini sticks with him.

Just on case someone on RAWK does what CuteMancs does for us

I hope we smash the living daylights out of the candle lighting, murdering, jobless, scrounging, living in the past, self entitled bastards at the end of the East Lancs road. Nothing would give me greater pleasure to win at Wembley against these.

Any mention of 'Wreath Laying' in there?

I'm still not confident. Until I see the team that's picked and what humour they're in.
Just hate the idea of losing to them in a final.
It would be unbearable.
C'mon City . A bit of pride. There's a lot of revenge, well overdue.

If I was a first team player Id be fuckign praying Caballero will be dropped...no fucking way should he play.

Disaster if he does.
