First England game I hAve watched for years that I've enjoyed. In fact the last one was probably when we beat the Germans last time

We all know the FA will not allow the team to go forward without the granny shagging prick as he "sells shirts" to all the scum mong out there.

100% Rooney walks straight back into this team despite having a season on par with Bony.

Precisely the reason I won't watch England.

A very negative comment on a night when there was much to be pleased about from an England perspective.

But as negativity is very much your thing here's one for you. Watching this game you could perhaps see some parallels with why city are out of the title race. We take on the role of the Germans, a largely star studded team with experience to win at the highest level seeming to think they just need to turn up are beaten by a team that worked harder with more desire, ultimately the home side underestimated their opponents.

Their opponents whose goalscorers play for Tottenham and Leicester - no coincidence?

Back to the game itself, I'm no huge England fan but that was very impressive and a performance to be excited about. Three goals of high quality to match the performance, I clapped and cheered not something I've done an awful lot of watching England over the years.

It was an unusually impressive performance. It was a performance we should be excited about but the point is, would we have been so fluid and progressive with Rooney in the team? It's a fair point to make. I know it was only a friendly but Kane, Alli and Vardy suggest it is time to move on.

If he's literally building it around the fat fuck they will need lots of longballs to get over his girth.

I think all of you need to kop on.
It was a friendly FFS.

When it gets to the business end - the Germans will win or go deep into the competition again and England will be nowhere - Rooney or no Rooney

Never mind bald fat jokes. The fact is Rooney has been shit for a decade now, miss controlling the ball and labouring for pace. We have actually made a fantastic transition from players we thought we couldn't do without, Terry, Lampard, Ferdinand, Rooney, Gerard and the team looks quick and well balanced. Changes City should have made but hasn't.

Direction of the team is going the right way. Youngins and newbies doing what they have been showing to be capable of. I think some are underestimating some talent here. This is not your typical England side. Pace, movement and excitement. Fullbacks help here as well despite some flaws.

Rooney can go, but he won't just yet. Alli, Kane, ______, ______ . Could be Welbeck, Sterling, or Sturridge. Vardy is going to come on late to cause havoc as he did, and is a needed spark. Too bad Raheem got hurt. Roy will still play Shrek, which I get on some level, but is he in tune with where this team is going? Get Henderson out of there as well. I'd prefer Dier. I think Shrek could play along side him in midfield if you feel the need to play him, but not sure if the manager will try that.

Ask yourself again if you've seen England play like this? We saw some hints in the World Cup of the attacking quality, and that was with Sterling and Sturridge who did not even play, but a good run in the Euros is not that crazy of an idea.

Didn't see the game, didn't plan to watch it, so i can't really comment on the fashion of the modern day footballer who earns big money by wearing outrageously coloured and styled boots.

I got two texts after the game one from a German, one a Swiss, both saying England were the better team overall.

When i was a lad we couldn't text messages ! we had talk to each other ! tut those were the days eh ?

Negativity is very much my thing?? Just stating what you and I and everyone else knows will happen. Oh and are you claiming Bony has had a good season or was I wrong to use him as an example?

I can't believe people are arsed about England! I've never really followed England, but I thought it was for Bury and Macclesfield fans to follow England as their own teams are turd it gives them a chance to support decent players (decent players until about 10 years ago and now anyone can get a call up - Wellbeck?!)

Funny seeing people creaming their kickers on my Facebook about beating Germany. Surely that means England will definitely win the Euros now....

The changes saved that game and it shows that Hodgson is fucking useless. They should've started, everybody knew it.

When you've got players in firm, full of confidence, you don't just stick them on the fucking bench.

Daft Prick.

Great game though. I was getting merrily pissed but then the cunts made me hit the roof.

Excellent.

Sterling won,t be going , the media will now start the campaign on how he has been ruined going to us and is not good enough.

We have a real chance but Hodgson is a w**ker and an FA yes man.

Granny Shagger first name on the team sheet in every game.

Glorious failure awaits again.

He's got a point. The very fact that Shrek is still being talked about in relation to England says it all. How many times as he fucked it up now, somehow playing the media so he comes in as our saviour after not playing for 3 months. Sound familiar.

Last night was telling with the team selection, picking the Sky 4 players rather than those who had earned their place at the top of the league. Henderson should never have been in the set-up but was chosen because he is the successor to Stevie Starfish. Welbeck, who I actually like, had only played a couple of games after a season of injury, why was he there instead of Vardy who we all know has been sublime.

Hodgson has done fuck all in the tournaments he's been in but that's because he's a yes man, toeing the party line.

I'll always support the England team but at the same time understand that the FA have a short term'ism approach to the game, preferring to sell a shirt to a Rag than actually planning forward to going far in a tournament and getting real credit.

Embarrassment was the word of the day for our last escapade.
