Scores half the goals of nacho in twice the game time.

Gets a hell of an ovation the 1st time I saw him hold the ball up under real pressure!

I feel a bit sorry for him. He has talent and ability but it's hot happening for him with this team for some reason. He seems to lack any belief.

He should be moved on in the summer.

Me too.

Maybe if he had not gotten so unlucky with malaria and injuries for a player who was never injured before he would have done better. His confidence seems destroyed and that is really unfortunate. He has talent, and did some good things for us early in the season whilst not scoring too many goals that weren't put on a plate, but it's pretty much gone wrong since then. There was actually a point where he had a decent goal and assist tally to games, or at least was "involved" in build up (I remember one with Yaya that was brilliant) that helped me keep hope he just needed to settle in.

It hasn't happened, and his lack of pace is really showing to be an issue with our style of play. We can't run Sterling and Navas down the wings or press high effectively with someone who can't get to the right positions to meet the ball in time. Aguero likes to drop deep sometimes, so makes sense to have a poacher like Nacho in there, who also has more pace and knack for putting the ball in the back of the net so far this season.

Bony was a beast at Swansea, including against us as I recall. He had the most goals in a year in the PL before he signed with us. It's a shame, but he will be moved on, clearly at this point. Rumour is West Ham as a possible destination.

I envy him. He gets to watch the game whilst being on the pitch AND being paid to be there. Amazing.

i literally awoke this morning after having dreamt he was going to get a start, and was in a shit mood. And then the team sheet!

He's as useful as a football bat.

The weirdos who feel sorry for him or think he's not absolutely 100% crap are delusional spaztards.

cheers

Pulls a fucking wage for that and people feel sorry for him?

I can see the good aspects in every single player in our squad, I like to think MDM will get a great send off, Fernando can be very good at times. Otamendi and Mangala will come good given time(and a fucking defensive coach who schools them in some basics of defending).

Bony? He held the ball up twice in a game and was ironically cheered for doing so. Lay a rubbish bin down on it's side and it could do exactly the same.

Worse than everything he has done or doesn't do, Iheanacho is on the fucking bench FFS. Give the kid some fucking time or he's just another Weiss waiting to happen.

I'm not a fan of the invisible man I have to say, but at least you can mostly forget he is there these days.

I'd give him a break if it looked like he was out there trying his best but he appears to just coast through games to me.

Whilst its not his fault hes not suited to the team and the style of play, at the very least he should be out there working hard and trying to get into the game.

How the manager sees him as a more viable option than Kelechi is mind blowing.

The only positive thing about him is he has some resale value

We lost a few good posters, but got a few good new ones.
Carl is still the übercunt. It's pretty much the same as always.

I think bony amazed a few of us with just how awful he was from the first minute of his debut. He ticked all the boxes, left foot, right foot and headed goals and a big old lump. Then he ran on to the pitch and forty five thousand people collectively went "oh dear, he cant fuckin play" Its been downhill since then.

Should we feel abit sorry for him? Sometimes he gets himself into great positions and nobody will pass to him, especially Sergio.

Maybe they know how shit he is dunno, bet it's awkward in the changing rooms

You can see sergio especially doesn't want to pass to him - its frustrating that stubborn pellegrini doesnt see it, nor does he see that sergio does pass to nacho
Serge and nacho could have had the beginnings of a lethal partnership by now

This. Just not cut out for our style of play. He cannot read the game and has no anticipation. Play the ball into space and he doesn't reaact or have the legs to get to the ball until it's too late. Nacho would be much the better option.

It happened again on the weekend. He made a run, the space opened up.........and the ball didn't come.

Regardless of whether he's up to it or not it's clear he doesn't have the respect of his teammates and has to go. Furthermore, playing him is only to damage the price we get for him. It's not enhancing his reputation is it?
