Id have Samir in my xi.

I don't want to see Navas ever again if I can help it.

Cheers

If Samir plays on the right instead of Navas then who plays on the left?

I hear all kinds of shit on the radio about navas. There is never a good word for him, even on other fans forums. However, I reckon it's an armchair mentality as he puts 100% in all the time. End product is lacking but give me navas over sterling tomorrow all day long.

Navas is fucking shite and his continued inclusion in the team has played a large part of our downfall this season "giving 100%" or otherwise

End product is the most important thing though WW, especially if you're a winger playing in a side that wants to play attacking football.

That chance in Madrid ( yes we did have a couple ) when he just rolled it into his namesake's arms with Aguero well positioned square of him just summed him up.

I like him for his industry but more often that not I find myself saying Jesus Christ Jesus.

I don't just think his work rate has been good his ability in midfield has seen his tenacity win the ball and link up play well. Yes sometimes his ball into the box isn't of the quality required but I've seen him get into good positions to put an early ball into the box and there has literally nobody in there to receive it, he has had to check back and play a ball backwards to start again with momentum lost - must be frustrating for him. He's an easy target to criticize and some don't look beyond what may seem to be the obvious without looking at the bigger picture.
For those looking to suggest that Sergio might not be making runs across the box when navas has the ball in these positions because the end product won't be good enough then think again as it holds no water. As often our sole striker he should be in these positions instead of playing as deep as he has so often done this season.

I do look at the bigger picture and what you say about Aguero not making them runs is fair but that still doesn't take away from the fact that Navas' end product is lacking. I sympathise with him when he doesn't have options but even when he does he fucks it up far too often for my liking.

Just in regards Aguero dropping deep, that happens more often when Yaya is not on the pitch as he doesn't see enough of the ball when the big man is not there to play them incisive passes from back to front.
