I like it.

I also like the new shade of sky blue on the website.

Change is good.

I think it's brilliant. I love the badge, I love the Jersey (better get in better shape if I'm gonna buy it mind)

Everything just looks classier imo.

We're getting copied on many aspects and you'll see more and more of that as time goes on.

Especially from the knackers across the way.

Doesn't that feel good?

We were the first club to use the electronic ticketing instead of the paper books/tickets and next season we'll become the first club to use this app where you input your seat number at the start of the match and throughout the match cameras around the stadium take pictures of you at different moments throughout the game. It's class. We're class.

If one of those photos is at the fulltime whistle I wonder if it will make a difference to the number of early leavers? (Not that I have a problem with people leaving when they want to, it's their money).

I'm with C64 on this...I know I was shocked too.

I don't like the removal of FC from our name, so we're not a football club any more, we're a brand. I know that is actually the reality of our situation, but would it hurt to maintain the illusion of being an actual football club?

Absolutely Slim . MCFC and Football Club just fucked off by our owners without a blink of an eye or consultation with the fans . A lot of history down the pan aswell , well a bit less history now for our rivals to take the piss out of if you get my drift .

This dropping of FC is just online as far as I can make out.

Club address on the new site still starts with Manchester City Football Club.

Much ado about nothing ( as usual ) as far as I can see.

No FC or Football Club on or in and around the Etihad , all removed apart from and old bill board outside the stadium I am reliably informed !!!

I don't care about the FC, but we are always City, or Manchester City if we happen to be playing some other club called City.

I always think of us as CITY when we're playing another City, because there's only one CITY worth shouting about.

There was a massive consultation about the badge (which included talk of MCFC etc) and at least two recent 'City Voice' fans surveys about branding and the name of the club. Not sure they listened to the survey results judging on general consensus amongst my mates but it's wrong to say we weren't consulted

No there were at least two City voice surveys asking about opinions on what you call the club and how you like to refer to them and different opinions of them including the chance to view and feedback on the beta version of the new site and what you thought about it changing from mcfc.co.uk
