Anyone need a ticket for this? Don't think I can make it. Ideally will need to pick up ticket from Chester area. Or Wrexham where I work.

This.

If you could hand pick a fixture to have first up, this would be one of the first choices. If we can't beat Sunderland at home then we don't deserve to win things.

Even if we do end up with bill and Ben the flower pot men in defence we should have enough in other departments to get the points.
But expect a bumpy ride for the first few months until the players and pep adjust.

Pep to spring a few surprises.

What odds on one of the kids being thrown in?

Wouldn't think so for the first game of the season, but on the other hand, imagine the boost for one of them if they debuted in front of the first home crowd under the Pep era. The receiption they would get would be fabulous.
I think it would be more likely off the bench if things were going well, but you never know.

What's the lineup predictions? Any chance of stones playing? Seems like he's been training with Everton and should be fit. Doubt it. So many options I could be so far off.

Fern2 at CB over Stones? Ehh...wouldn't Stones be better even without recent training?

Yes he would. And he should start. F2 should not be anywhere near our starting XI, rather start with Tosin. or denayer. or Sagna at CB.

Is Otamendi fit? Hope so.

I also think Silva will start ahead of KDB just because he has had longer pre-season.

Agreed about silva after more thought. They are saying NickO is fit. I'll probably come up with a brand new starting XI before Saturday. As mentioned before, most anticiapated lineup ever.
