i was only 14 and was bricking myself!!!
I was in the West Ham end for that game with my pregnant ex. and I couldn't keep quiet when we scored the second. It went VERY frosty round us , but , and this is why I have a soft spot for WHU, some lad accompanied us out of the ground and made sure we were ok , I remember him saying, "Were not all cunts y'know".
this was back in the days when away fans were kept in after the match. think that was to allow the home fans time to group in front of the away exits.... vividly remember walking out to hundreds of west ham fans chanting "you'll never make the station!"
we did make it to the station and there was one platform for city fans, another for them. 2 tubes pulled in a the same time, amazing that they didn't derail with the amount of rocking that was going on.
