Good old 'Arry, with his brown envelope reputation, was probably the quintessential, archetypal, old fashioned British Manager. He would have been in his money making element if he'd ever become 'boss' of England.

I watched the video. if thats the best they have its not much, the report sensationalizes the whole thing and tries to drive down the narrative that hes a bad man(and he may well be) but from the video it doesnt look like that to me, its similar to the same scummy reporting we get on our club usually.

Snapped down the bung allegation straight away.
Didnt advise how to get around third party just said it could be done(and didnt we get around it by just buying out the players rights? like he did with valencia?)
Slags off roy and neville but no harm in that, its not even that bad.
Emphasizes he will deliver a keynote speech for 100k a pop and nothing else.

Seems fine by me.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if he is sacked he will go with the most successful win rate of any international manager in world football.

the fact he was dissing Hodgson and calling him Woy is unprofessional and shows the useless twat up for what he is.

back to Sunderland in a couple of weeks

I wonder will this start a domino affect.
You wouldn't know where it could end if they really dug into corruption.
Match fixing? Strange refereeing decisions? Who knows what names could turn up.

FA clearly did their homework with this hire...whoops!

Never felt he was the best choice anyway, but still possible he survives this I gather. Not that I would place any bets on it.

I fancy Eddie Howe as the best choice if you want to go English, because he actually looks to play football, and the upcoming and current English talent leans towards playing this way as well.

A truly great scandal is the type that everyone knows goes on but things go bananas when is out there in the open. Think MP’s fiddling their expenses, Celebrities from the past sexual conduct.

Let’s be honest, if the Telegraph have a list of 10 people who are corrupt in English football we could probably reel of the names of 7/8 of them right now. I'd put someone previously linked with City on that list.

You watch as the media attempt to protect their friends who have been very generous of their time to them. I already heard Alan Brazil label the journalists ‘snakes’ and state that in the larger scale of things ‘400k is not that much’.

FIFA, Baltter, UEFA, Platini all corrupt. Need a clear out at the highest level of the game.

Fat Sam and his British cohorts? They have a family to feed!

Apparently there is plenty more to come from the telegraph about "money in football" in the coming days, let's hope Gill gets exposed.

What amazes me is the sheer arrogance of people like BFS and his 'advisors' (including his 'financial' advisor, FFS!) who can talk about bending and avoiding rules to people they don't know from Adam without doing any background research on the (fictitious) company these people are purporting to be from. Did I say arrogance? I meant arrogant stupidity.

Of course there will be, the same paper drip fed info when they broke the MP expenses and also sex offenders iirc.

Why blat it out in one article when you can make headlines day after day.

Still would probably do better with England than any manager in the last decade. But that's a pretty low bar to pass

For an outsider such myself, Eddie would be the best choice for England since Sven, but it would be bad for Bournemouth. There are a few cunts in the national team that will not show him the respect he deserves and thing might weird from the start.

Let him at the cherries, be is doing a great job.
