7-4. What a game

Quite a tight, close fought encounter with defences firmly on top, I don't think   :o :o :o

Dortmund fans must think that Christmas has come early

Ended 8-4, a CL record. A Reus hat trick. And Aubameyang didn't even score, though to be fair he only came on in the 70th minute, which seems a bit odd as surely the game was won. Wonder if their manager is related in some way to Keegan

I wonder what the Warsaw fans must be thinking.

It's not often you can go away from home and score four goals, but to actually have eight put past you in the same game. I'd think they must have some mixed emotions, to say the least.

Be interested to see if there were any strange betting patterns on this game

Does anyone feel the same sense of injustice about this ?

It burns in my heart that UEFA play such a blatantly anti -City game through their corrupt seeding system and draw.

Yes

UEFA can go fuck themselves - trying to influence the UK government over Serge Aurier's visa by talking about the integrity of it's competition whilst doing everything in their power to stack the deck against City season after season...
VIVA EL CITIES

"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

au contraire. 4 goals conceded to that slop? yuck. poor showing by ortmun .

i guess that's what happens when both teams play their back up keepers, one of which got their CL debut, while one team also plays a u-19 RB at LB and a CM at Rb.

Yes

Hang on a second - weren't we complaining that the seeded system was bent when the Champions weren't seeded, too? Based on coefficients alone, we should be in Pot 2 (regardless of Leicester - deservedly in my opinion - jumping the queue), which is where we are. Based on league position, we should be in Pot 4 (disregarding the fact that winning some leagues is far easier than finishing 4th in the Prem, of course).

I'd be interested to see what people thought the fairest seeding system would be (beside just giving us an automatic bye to the final).

I agree on the draw side, though, and think it's fixed, but not to be 'anti-City' in any way. 'Keeping us down' is hardly going to be at the top of UEFA's priorities, when they've got money to make by setting up interesting ties.

Incredible how Legia scored 7 in the last two games, 3 past Madrid and 4 past Dortmund.

NB, it looks as though greater light has been focused on last night's events by someone who knows more about Dortmund and this particular game, than either you or I do.

It's good to be corrected, albeit in no uncertain terms, or am I being a little too sensitive ??

I see Bayern are losing in Rostov. Boateng playing like a cunt. Looks a bit chilly though, I can see the evils coming a cropper in Russia shortly, seeing they haven't won away in Europe since Noah was a lad

Looks like Bayern will finish second. Assuming we also finish second at least we are spared visiting Bavaria again.
