+1 City V Chelsea will show there respects, RIP.

Really?

Class if so.

I would be shocked if you didn't see this from clubs around the world. I'm seeing tons of tweets from clubs from all over offering their condolences.

Pretty sure United will show their respects tomorrow. Has anyone mentioned Munich yet? Has combover been tapped for his opinion yet?

Empathy.

Fernandinho's manager at Atletico Paranaense Mario Sergio died in the crash. He was working for Fox Sports Brazil.

Very sad news.

I heard one of the lads had just found out he was to be a father.

I hope we do some sort of mark of respect.

No, no I saw that, but will the FA allow a minute of silence? That is what I understood from Hazy above when he said City vs Chelsea?

Just a few weeks ago, ex-big player of Atletico died and the spanish La Liga refused to do that before the game with Madrid.

Liverpool did it last night.

Not sure about the truth but 2 stories I heard:

The young goalie was pulled from the wreckage and actually phoned his family to tell them he was OK, but then died in hospital. Awful. The owners son forgot his passport and wasn't allowed on the flight. Bit like Jack Johnson with the Titanic.

Also heard the other clubs are all going to loan players to them to ensure the club's continuation.

As I heard it, he phoned his ?wife to say he loved her but died later.

Chapacoense have been awarded the Copa Sudamerica by the relevant authourity. For once a football administration does the right thing
