wonder what, if anything, we can predict about the lineup for Stoke from today's selection.

KDB to start for sure. maybe a CB pairing of Vinnie & Otamendi. Zaba.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

It means Kolarov can play centrally.

Sagna on the right and Clichy on the left are our best options at full back. Stones and Kolarov are this week's useless centre back pairing. Both of them will most likely struggle with Defoe.

But the midfield and attack is very strong and will cause Sunderland lots of problems, particularly the front 3.

We will score goals, just a case of how few mistakes the defenders can make to minimise what we concede.

Clichey has been shocking this season and cost us points on a couple of occasions would have Kolarov far ahead of him this season.

Fair enough about Clichy - him and Kolarov are both poor. Clichy's legs have gone and he shouldn't be playing for us. But we're stuck with him. Kolarov hasn't really ever been good enough for us though.

At right back though Zab has been poor for over 18 months now. It's sad watching him play these days.

Good man, on my second ;-)

Are Sunderland still one of our bogey teams?

Edit: Just checked to confirm we beat them on the last couple of occasions, both 4-1.

Always the same with Gollum at the helm. I think he even beat us in his shit year at the Rags!

If this side doesn't put these jokers to the sword we don't deserve to win things. They are bottom of the league for a reason

I'm having difficulty identifying this new, confident you NB..........and this comes at a time when we're having to operate without our first choice striker, because of injury ;) ;) ;) ;)

I know!

And I know there are no easy away games in the PL, but these are really poor. Be very disappointed not to get a comfortable win
