Good spot. Glad to see there are some journalists out there who not only have spotted this trend but have eloquently published their findings

Pep Guardiola, it would seem, is working even bigger miracles with his squad of nobodies than even City fans give him credit for.

Doesn't matter. The fact it is published is testament to how far we have come in the last decade. This article wouldn't have seen the light of day five years ago. The more City fans that are journalists, the better, as more balanced articles will be written which in turn means less of the blatant lies that currently pass as journalism.

Of course this will take time. Time we have, as we are here to stay. That has been proved

excellent finding C_W, and very refreshing read, for once.

never heard of this Simon Curtis fella, but I doubt he's a Brit, by the face of his pen.
Americans, every now and then, use to remember they are heirs of the likes of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton and get sympathetic to the righteous cause.

Unfortunatly, imho, what matters is the mainstream perception of The Club, and that is well reflected in the comments section below the article.
sometimes I despair that City might ever achieve a fair standing status, no matter of how big winning and flairly playing... next generation, maybe, when all those puppets breed at the workships of Bob Paisley and Whiskeynose will have passed away

Fair point, rather telling though that he had to go to an American broadcaster to be published.

I'm sure he's Mancunian.

He's the author of one of the best City blogs out there.

Cheers FiBD.
had already inferred by your exchange with NB above. ;)
let's hope I'd be proven wrong, big time, also on the rest of my gut feelings.

also, many thanks for signaling the author's blog: have to admitt I elected this place as my main source of City culture and spent most of the time I can allow to my passion for City browsing on here.
it's working fine, imho, through several contributors very savvy on City history like Kippaxblue, John68, the Chessmaster, Herr Zurich and others.
your above post is evidence of yet another worthy help.
