He's been a top signing so far. In all positions he's played. Not sure why Pep doesn't fancy him.

well, funny is that he saw enough to sign him and as You say got great rewards...

Was he forced to sign him though as he was the cheapest option after missing Alves and wanted to save money for Sanchez?

He is from Madrid, the bald catalan hates him.

Joke aside, Danilo looks top on the right side, while on the left he looked ok. But I would had gone with him, no doubt about that.

dunno, maybe... but none can say Pep doesn't know his footaball. Danilo has been as good as it gets, yet wherever applied, so...
perhaps.. a late coup of our typical luck.

Had hoped to see Brahim on the bench today, but obviously Zinchenko got the nod instead.

Solid side. Delph I think did enough last time out to keep his place. It appears this season Pep is preferring to keep a settled defence which I am a fan of

Would like to have seen a 4231 with a bit more protection to the centre halfs. Worried about fern having to do too much in there.

With Mendy out, he's saving Danilo until Delph gets injured....

What do we make of zinchenko on the bench? Matter of numbers or is he showing some promise?

Must be showing promise. It probably helps he is left footed and if it goes tits up with Delph he can be called upon in an emergency. Plus Mendy being out for the season means he is probably going to get some games sooner rather than later and this just integrates into the squad nicely

back up left back in case Danilo has to go on for Walker. no way he's ahead of Foden or Diaz

They've all rooted for Chelsea on BT Sport.
Hazard will be too strong for our defence apparently.
