Does anyone ever tie scarves to their wrist anymore or was that an 80s bay city rollers craze?
You old fucler. We used to do that when we were kids on the Kippax!!!
Haha, this might be a notion that's alien to the younger generation. Wrist? Scarf? Wtf? Why would you do that?
And why on earth would there ever be a Bay City Rollers craze?
Bay city rollers fans used to wear their scarves on their wrists like they they were a cult. Mainly girls of course. However I remember when I went to the match in the 80s I used to tie mine on my wrist.
Edit: my city scarf... I have never owned a bay city rollers scarf, however my sister did.

They'll be asking fans to tie scarves around their wrists next.

Final game in the Auto Windscreens Shield group stage tonight, with us needing an outright win to go through, it seems. Don't know whether this will have any impact on our options for the bench.

I'm feeling very nervous about tonight. Our amazing run will have to end at some time, and I just have the feeling that it will be before the derby, making that an even nervier affair.

Nah, used to stand near the top next to the away fans over the far Kippax tunnel mate. Always the best atmosphere there but whenever we scored we'd be carried off our feet and end up about ten yards away from where we started.
Happy days but watching these days is far easier on the eye.
P.S; Doesn't surprise me that you were a "Mod" ;o)

I got a manflu which I'm trying to cure with Whiskey. Right now my only worry is staying awake until the game starts.

Well if the players are like their fans we should be OK, 90+% in their build up thread are looking to their weekend game against Bournemouth as being winnable!
Biggest debate was whether to play Charlie Adams or rest him, again 90+% want him rested....
I guess it's all down to whom we rest ourselves
