But you don't know if that's true or not. So it's not on Pep.

That's why I put "I think" and not "this is a fact".

But I could give you a number of examples of players he's fallen out with if you want?

Truly is a football genius. In his first season he said that he isn't here to change English football but it's noticeable that English football is changing to his style.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Good way of putting it.

With regard to last night's team selection, appearances can be deceptive.
Looked to me like Pep is targeting all 4 trophies and selected accordingly.

And we have no idea what is happening in-house.
For example Sane, he could have a: niggling injury, bad attitude, bad training stats, be held in reserve for Spuds PL match......

We just do not know, so I judge Pep on results and Pots.
Pep is excelling on both fronts (look at the points total that will be required to win the PL this year, etc...).

PeP put on 2 holding midfielders because he shat his pants - if we were up against a team with 3 attacking players , i.e Bindippers , he would have been justified to do so - not against fuckign spurs who we have battered more often than not.

P.S
There was fuckall wrong with Sane , fuckall wrong with KDB - can some fans please just fuckign admit the fact that our manager FUCKED UP.

Ive accepted it and Ill bet a pound to a fuckign Penny PeP himself knows he fucked up.

I hope we find our true form with our best team when we play them in the second leg.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Beside what Notts pointed out, I want to add that for me Sane doesn’t offer support on the back and that might be his issue.
He doesn’t track back at all in many moments when he is needed.

I think he thinks he is better than he actually is.

No Carl. Sanè clearly has:

-An attitude problem, and/or
-A slight knock, and/or
-Doesn't train as hard as others

Pep has failed to win 10 straight away matches in the Champions League quarter or semi finals.
Im not sure what that says about him and his style or his mindset going into big away legs

It suggests that he over thinks and over complicates it, meaning too many changes both in terms of tactics and key personnel causing too much disruption to team rhythm and momentum. resulting in a disjointed performance.

Apparently he’s only won 6 out of 35 knockout away games during his career - an odd stat

It's 6 out of 26 CL knockout, 10 draws, 10 defeats.

Still an odd stat.

Home record is W18 D4 L3

Its very selective.

What is the average for all managers in these games? How many of the ties have his team progressed in? Etc, etc

The problem with him is that he has a monkey on his back and he needs to get rid of it - The fact that people will say he won those UCL because he had Messi.

It looks that way, yes, let's be honest. The records are against him.

13/14 - lost in the semi 0-1 & 0-4 vs Real
14/15 - lost in the semi 0-3 & 3-2 vs Barca
15/16 - lost in the semi 2-1 & 0-1 vs Atleti
16/17 - lost in the last 16 1-3 & 5-3 vs Monaco
17/18 - lost in the last 8 0-3 & 1-2 vs Criminals.

Most of those were managerial fuck ups. At least in our games, but we also can remember that semi vs Real.

My 2 cents, I think he is trying to hard and fails to see where is making the mistakes and as soon as he will understand that and have backup plans vs other teams, he will win it again.
I love our players, but no one is nowhere Messi who can decide everything as he does.
