Really? What about this scenario:

Last game of the season, we've already won the premiership by a mile and a 1-0 loss to the rags at the swamp means that the bin dippers get relegated to the Championship.

In your scenario, united would need to win to go above liverpool. Have I got that right?

Or stay above them .
I could stomach it , if it would send the crims down. In fact , it would be beautiful. Specially if it was an own goal by Raheem. Snigger....

Probably, just thinking of a better scenario. Will come up with it soon. :-)

Nope, and trust me when I say neither would the Rags. Those that are saying they'd rather lose are using it as a convenient excuse if they do lose.

We should win and send the pair of them down. ;)

1. We had the league title stitched up
2. Rags winning means Merseyshite relegated.
If both of those two conditions are met , then I wouldn't allow them to beat
us on the field of play, just not turn up & give the rags a 3-0 walkover . It would be worth
whatever we'd get fined by the EPL, just to see the looks on the faces of those sewer rats.

I suppose this boils down to which club / set of supporters do you hate least.

Relagate both.

Only if us losing meant a bomb was automatically trigged at the Liverpool game

I would still want City to win.
To me the Rags are enemy No1 - always will be.
All that entitlement, the superior attitude, the arrogance, the BS re 'the Utd way' and the 'characters' that have played for them.
Thats before I start thinking about the dismissive belittlement of our club.
Think that banner at OT, think 'over my dead body', think 'Liverpool are our biggest rivals'.....

For me - stick it to them every chance we get - the Liverpool show is a different level of intensity altogether - for me anyways.

No, it would only soften the defeat.

What a fukking daft question!!!!!!!!!

Lose to the rags????
If I was suffocating and the only way to switch the oxygen back on was City to lose a derby to that shower of shite,I would rather City win and happily pop my clogs.

I'm a City fan...I really couldn't give a flying fuck what other clubs do, need or want.

I'm agreeing with that. The Dippers may be obsessed with themselves but I couldn't care less
