How would you explain Pep's relationship with the current players? Quite clear they don't want to play for him!

“Quite clearly don’t want to play for him”. It was only a few days ago people were saying it was the best performance of the season against Leicester. Yesterday we went down to a decent enough team having played 80 minutes with ten men. We all know our defence has not been good enough since Laporte got injured so that was always going to be a struggle.

It’s not been great this season but to see pep out and “he’s lost the dressing room” to me is throwing your dummies out the pram. It’s pep who has set the bar so high, let’s remember that. I for one are grateful he is still here. Imo one of the best around who we will struggle to replace.

Agree. We just need to stay calm.

It's one thing staying cal but we also need to be realistic . Pep dropped a major bollock removing KDB last night having already having brought on Garcia. From that moment we went further back and had nowhere to go. Foden should have come on in those circumstances to retain st least s threat of creativity instead of Pepsi love-child. Moaning about the next fixture is bullshit - you win the first game then move on. Pep is currently on a crusade to get a shit-liad of money for the summer. The way it's going, it is going to need to be some amount

You think these world class players that are capable of beating any team look like they want to play for Pep? Honestly?

Telling Ederson to get himself sent off after 10 minutes.

Telling Sterling to give away the ball to get them back in the game.

Telling Mendy to fuck about and not get rid.

Enough is enough, Pep out!

What were his responses to what you've detailed above? Were they that of a world class manager with more than just a plan A?

I'll wait....

Are you taking the piss? His changes put us on the backfoot so that the players were just defending constantly for at least 60 minutes. That's what caused the errors because we were being bombarded.

Do those responses, which you did not detail, include taking KDB off, bringing Gundo on, and not playing Foden?

No lads you're right, he got it wrong, it's all on him, Pep out.

The only individual last night that I saw not pulling his weight was Sterling, can understand why Pep persisted with him though, he wanted his pace on the break. Also understandable that an extra defender was brought on, in hindsight an extra midfielder was probably the way to go. We nearly got away with until Mendy's brain fart.

Pep is the best manager in world football, he's a tremendous draw to attract players to our club.

He's clearly frustrated at the moment, not being able to buy the players he wants with FFP, losing Laporte, a series of VAR decisions effecting results, his family returning to Spain, some players being very inconsistent, losing Arteta...

IMO we need to get behind him and show him we appreciate what he's done for our club, and we want him to commit his future to the club. It's easy to criticise when things don't go our way but let's try and give Pep and the players our full support to help them regain their form.

Why have you taken it personal that people are suggesting that Pep's tactics at 1-2 made us lose the game?

The sarcasm makes you seem like you've taken it really personal mate. Is it because you think Pep reads the forum still?

Hey, I'm not the one that's getting emotional about 99% of the forum suggesting that it was Pep's tactics and subs that cost us last night.

We fucked up not replacing kompany, our best defender got a six month injury, stones injury prone and head not right otter carthorse. And fern never a defender. Best holding midfielder in the prem was fern.
We needed a backup striker as aguero is starting to get injuries. Last night was the first time I thought pep looked disinterested and negative. Maybe he's had enough maybe he want back to Spain. Hopefully the heirachy get some players in Jan if not were screwed because we won't do much with what we've got!!

No one up front to hold the ball up means constant pressure on our defence. It went on for a good 60 minutes. Look back at the match thread my emotional friend and you'll see about 5647 posts when they equalised and then went 3-2 up "well that was coming" "was to be expected" etc etc.

So if we could see it, why couldn't Pep?

I agree taking off KDB lessened our chances of attacking in the game, it was a gamble. However KDB may have run himself into the ground and sustained an injury, running around such a lot as he does. He suffered cramp and had to come off against Leicester. Pep has to look at all our games to use his squad most effectively. The more fatigued your muscles the more susceptible they are to injury. Maybe we might have lost KDB, our most important player, for weeks/months? I think Pep tried to bring on someone that would run less but move the ball around to keep possession, it didn't come off but that doesn't make it a bad decision.

Like a hangover a defeat. Sacking Pep for the remote control throwers would not be hair of the dog.
Thankfully the club is a touch calmer. For me the loss of characters over the last couple of years has left
us all inclusive knowing we are flakey. Both Pellers and Mancini had seasons defending the title like this. Frustrating as we are panicking is old City, we need a reset with Pep, in fact a statement he is here long term would be the way for me.
