2 City v QPR iconic heart stopper every emotion possible and the most pissed I have ever been after a match .
3 City v Dippers January 2018 2-1 pure intense football and by far the best ever atmosphere the Etihad has ever witnessed, absolutely insane noise levels , truly incredible night and performance.
Gillingham ? Not for me ! That era was utterly disgusting to be a city fan we should never ever have fallen to those levels . Massive respect to the people who changed that ,Joe Royle all the players and staff . It certainly taught us all a lesson and set the foundations for what we enjoy in this era , well most of us !
It was best games not era. There won’t be a more iconic or important game than that Gillingham one in our lifetime. We wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for that day.

2 FA Cup Semi v the rags. The best of all my trips to Wembley, even better than the final for me. Atmosphere inside, outside from all Blues was fantastic.
3 rags at home 2012, 3rd last game of the season. Captain Fantastics header putting us top of the league. Atmosphere again fantastic.

My memory might be muddled - but I heard that the deal Bernstein did for us to move to Eastlands after the Commonwealth Games was based on us getting promotion that year - without that it was not viable.
So - I always think that if we had not won that game then the Sheik would not have selected us, etc......
For that reason alone it was the best ever game for me - but I selected it for the pure excitement of being there - had a great time in the Green Man (I think it was that pub) afterwards

I reckon you and me were the only ones left in the stands when Vinny scored that header against the rags.
Everyone else had fucked off for the HT refreshments.
I had a lot of space to go mental in.

All four goals with ten men as well!
And Anelka not fancying it at HT if I I remember??
Looks like he went off for Macken on 27th minute

Pretended he was injured.
Was it barton that was sent off?

I’ll also add in Hamburg at home in the UEFA Cup. The atmosphere was electric. Everyone in the entire stadium was standing for the whole game.
We were unfortunately let down by Mark Hughes. Everyone could see Dunne needed to be subbed as he was a red card waiting to happen. So Hughes kept him on and soon enough he received a red card.
Elano was having the game of his life and Hughes decided to take him off!
We won 2-1 and suffered a glorious exit. But it was a cracking game. Caicedo’s celebration was brilliant too.
