Think it could be effectively 3 at back, Ake Laporte Mendy, with Cancelo bolstering the midfield duo of Rodri and Fern with Sterling and Torres out wide as more traditional wingers with Kun and Jesus as a traditional two up front.

Good. When they start bleating on about the cost of the bench or indeed the starting XI, it’s usually because we are winning and it’s the only stick they think they can beat us with.

Hodgson - “I am hoping we will even be playing against the best team in Europe because I would love to see them win the Champions League."

Hope that means he hasn’t instructed them to boot the fuck out of us as usual.

Great progress as that line up confirms that Pep will not overthink Tuesday. He will play our best 11.

Today's starting 11 are good enough to beat Palace.

I would prefer if Rodri was not playing today. IMO he is vital for Tuesday (even though he was not good in the first half Vs. PSG - he is a quick learner though so I expect a big game from him Tuesday if the legs can cope)

I just ignore their crap. What is the point?
The 'reporting' is so biased that a Martian would think that the Rags and Dippers never buy players they only ever play academy graduates.

Is it just me, or is there a lack of creativity in the team today?

Sky, who always cover the 12.30 game first on soccer Saturday, determined not to discuss us until after ko today.

Very odd

Just watching Mendy walk out of the tunnel - what a sack of shit he is , should only play if there is absolutely no one else available and even then I’d put in a fucking mannequin ffs !!

Then there’s sterling praying to Buddha that he doesn’t miss from 1 yard again .

Lovely

We play what is effectively a second XI so it stands to reason the first XI will be on the bench. Do these thick cunts ever think before opening their fucking mouths??
