We won the Prem...they came below us.
We won the Carabao Cup...They didn't.
Our EDS won the Prem 2...Theirs didn't.
Our U18s won their league...Theirs didn't.
Our Women were 2nd in their League by a single point...Theirs were below us.
Our manager fucked up in the final of the CL...Their manager has built his managerial career on fucking up.

We came 2nd in the Champions Lge...They were relegated to a lower competition and fucked that up.

It's role reversal now...Their big success was the derby. End of.

John we are still playing the long game I get it. I don't Normally take the armchair brigade on in Salford as id been forever in rows. They all know that the roles are reversed but they can rightly point to their haul of the big ears trophy. We win that last week and i believe we would have defended it something the red shite have not or are ever likely to do.
Take it on the chin and move on, I'd rather be us than them and i always tell them that and also, i was there were you in poland - were you fcuk. We will reel them in on the trophy totals we missed a trick and it still rankles

You can also add that we have finished above them in the Prem for the last 8 years & as Khaldoon pointed out, the only Prem team to play in the chumps league for the last 10 yrs straight.
