Feran playing a 9 - nothing even false about it. The kid is coming good. A little more patience is needed from us City fans, with him.

I think next season we will see the best of him.

I don’t think any City fan has questioned Torres mate. If anything we don’t understand why he’s not started the last few!

Oh yes they have, but as i say ,he is young , like Phil and is allowed to make mistakes ... Raheem however , is no longer young and should not be making
the mistakes he does - so often.

The only thing I have questioned is why we have not seen him for even a minute in the last 3 matches when we needed goals (regardless of the overall results).

He has scored 3 goals in all competitions this season, 5 if you count 2 good goals chalked off unjustly by VAR and yet Sterling gets 90 minutes against PSG and 70 against Liverpool and he gets none !!

He’ll probably not show up against Burnley as he seemed to get a knock, so the wait goes on.

Anybody know if Ederson and Jesus will be back in time for Burnley game?

There is no way we would let them travel otherwise. After the dicking about last time out, everyone will be watching so Brazil cannot afford to fuck up again

The problem this time isn't covid related - it's the fact Brazil have a World Cup Qualifier on Friday 15th the day before the Burnley game.

Lol, surely we have a deal with them, right?
It would be stupid if not.

Not sure. there were reports dippers were asking for their lunchtime kick off to be changed to the evening to give their players time to get there and Watford said no. I can't see any of the Brazilians playing for us if they stay for that last game. i hate these breaks.

I wouldn't play either of them if this stays. It would mean they start the game fresh out of the plane.
Zack can play, not worried.

Jesus is stupid really. He’s played himself back in to the team with some great performances, then he’s going to ruin it and potentially cost him his place because if he can’t play and Mahrez comes in and smashes it, Jesus will be back to parking his arse on the bench. Mental.

Does Eddie even start for Brazil? Thought Allisson always got the nod ahead of him, when available?

Be a Great opportunity for Steffen to showcase any improvements (mostly to delivery, crucial for our play). Good thing it's only Burnley if our players aren't back. Should have enough to put them away... Unless we do a Southampton.

Fucking madness. Hopefully if Torres is fit means he may get some game time against Burnley as imagine Mahrez is also away on dury but not playing on the Friday

I hope Torres nails it and then JG can join stones on the bench for the foreseeable.............I fuckign hate it when players have a country before club mentality.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

But to be fair, not super worried. Steffen can do a good job as he showed us many times and we have replacements for Gabby.
From time to time, Eddie needs a break. Love his foot game, but his overall gk skill have not improved that much.

Brazil hammer blow for Man City, Liverpool and Co as it is confirmed Premier League stars will NOT be allowed to return early from World Cup qualifiers... leaving Alisson, Ederson, Fabinho and Gabriel Jesus set to miss club matches

This is confirmation.

For the vermins it is, we should cope better with our attacking options.

And yet conceded the least goals in the league. Can't have it all

Not concerned in the slightest about Steffen in goal. More than capable.
