Stones to me is like Mahrez - slow starter and needs a run in the team to get to good form, when he can be excellent. It's just getting him going that's the issue.

Stones gave the ball to one of their players by trying to chip it to a City player that then led to Newcastle counting us. On the whole I think his passing is fine, but Sunday it was off. As was his whole play - the free kick he gave away for Trippier’s goal.

I think Dias was by far the best defender on Sunday- constantly made surging runs forward as well and always looking for an attacking pass. No way on earth Stones is more positive than him.
