Imho there was no justification in cancelling grass roots football and junior football that should have been allowed to continue surely ?
I think that it is pretty obvious that the dippers are reason too, no other precedent for this extended period of cancellations just for football. I posted earlier that City played Derby at Maine Road a couple of hours after the last State Funeral for Churchill in 1965. (They were cheering the death of the Queen at Shamrock Rovers yesterday, a regular pre-season fixture for the dippers and I also don't think Klopp fancied Wolves today either so soon after their humiliation in Napoli.)Nigels Tackle wrote:City64 wrote:A couple of respected football journos have both “tweeted” this morning the FA feared certain anti monarchy chanting , both have fell short of naming the “club” or “clubs “ so felt it in the best interest of the Nation to make the decision they did .

it’s 100% the dippers that they were afraid of

Tool a peak on rawk, they don't have a specific topic about the death of the queen.
They do however one titled "the monarchy" that was started back in June and has over 1700 replies, obvioulsy didnt read all of it, needless to say not one good thing said.
Click to the end and they are all complaining about how much the funeral will cost , mainly about it being a bank holiday and extra wages. Ironic really coming from these work shy cunts

I wonder how many of the media rats will mention this ,
All major tv channels over here paying tribute to the Queen with great stories & memories .
So I turn to BBC America and they are showing star treck fucking disgraceful
Why would the yanks care?
Wasn't their whole independence based on a hatred of monarchy in general?
