Howe to be the first manager sacked next season.

He has made a cardinal sin of raising the bar too high. That squad on paper isn’t champions league challenging level, pope burn longstaff joelinton schar while good players arent top notch. U will only get so far out of them. If he had of been 7/8 this season that would have been a good season and then next season push on for champs league.

At this rate, the geordies will now be expecting a challenge next year and when he starts slow/bad he will be gone.

But if he wins a cup, hopefully the League cup by beating the rags, then as the first manager is living memory to win a cup for them he will be considered a god on Tyneside and it will buy him time

Looks like the powers that be don’t want them facing the Rags in the final.

But if they get top 4 they will most likely invest more, right.
Will players see them differently?
