Incredible that lots of people still can't work out rotation. Beyond belief really.

I suppose we can always run our top players into the ground, then when the big games come, get stuck with reserves who haven't kicked a ball for 3 months and are nowhere near match sharp either.

We should try it

XI | Ortega Moreno, Lewis, Stones, Dias, Gvardiol, Rodrigo, De Bruyne (C), Bobb, Alvarez, Grealish, Haaland

SUBS | Ederson, Kovacic, Doku, Bernardo, Gomez, Akanji, Nunes, Foden, Susoho

A decent line up all things considered and one which is deffo good enough to beat Palace

Looks very much like we could be a traditional 442 on paper. But of course, this a Pep team. Where the players actually will line up and play is open to huge interpretation

I fancy us to get the three points

I also quite like that line up. Good to see Rico start after a good performance mid week. And let's see what Bobb can do for a full game.

Imagine being 23, hardly ever injured and having to be rotated  Class!

If we lose it’s a stupid decision. If we win, and we still should, it’s great.

Mad how they can play 10 games in 3 weeks for England

Playing devils advocate, were you ok with him playing both games for England recently? As he is young and rarely injured?

He is guaranteed to start in Madrid and as such, after playing 4 games in the last couple of weeks, two each for us and England, maybe our conditioning team feel another game so soon before Tuesday would impact his fitness and usefulness for the quite frankly, more important game on Tuesday. Just a thought?

At the end of the day the end justifies the means, we win great, drop points = fuck up. Playing Foden today on his current form is essential & to imply playing a 23 year old within three days of a world class performance is running him into the ground is bizarre.

I don’t support England, but if I did I would be happy with it.

You play your best team and when 2 or 3 up then you can rotate. I’m sure you were the one thats said that before?

It’s still rotating, just when we’re up.

To an extent I agree. You base it on the opponent. And today it’s Palace. Who are generally a dour, poor side and one we’d expect to win against. So resting Foden given the strength of the opponent and the the strength of the opposition on Tuesday in the following match, is IMO not going to impact greatly the result today. If we don’t beat Palace today with the XI that starts and a decent bench then we simply have ourselves to blame. 4/5 players would have to be below par for us not to get three points today

COME ON CITY!!!!!!! Shut the crowd up from the first minute. They’re a noisy bunch and it’s a small ground.

I agree, that team should be enough. We’ll see, I just think with Palace being a dodgy team for us it would have been nice to get ahead and then make changes.

We should have more than enough, like you say.

Up the blues.

Who the fuck is Lucy Ward?

Think of the worst male co-commentators, the likes of Savage, Owen, Quinn, Hinchcliffe etc. And I’d still rather have them
