iI'd be looking for a replacement for
Walker
De Bruyne
Stones
All of the above are bit part players now. Walker is fit and hasn't lost much pace but he isn't a captain and he's not a big thinker
De Bruyne - Sun's going down quickly on his great career, but he's now rarely capable of putting in a full 90 mins
Stones - injury prone causes rust to set in. Just gets right then it's back to treatment room
Nunes - Play him more frequently or get rid
Gomes- as per Nunes

Foden, Grealish , Silva, Lewis, Nunes, and the new Argentinian kid all capable of freshening up the midfield.

A decent defensive player to support Rodri would be ideal. Phillips was a complete and utter disaster. His game is shot, no matter who he's played for

Need to get the cheque book out

Don't know about the Summer but I'm not sure we can keep getting away with a slow start. After the Arsenal collapse last season we got lucky this time around when they lost to Villa. Think we have to be in it from the off this time.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

We didn't have a slow start, we had a great start.
Won the 1st 6 league games then Rodri got sent off and we lost the next 2.

It's funny how we can remember things differently when the season is over.

I always loved the end of season dvds and still have some - the keegan "back to the Premier league" one being the standard out.

But do they not do them any more or what??

Maybe not but we dropped 17 points before Christmas compared to 6 after and our Captain was saying "let's get it done early".

just clicks for Gaughan & The Daily Mail - helped by CityXtra - aka Freddie Pye - hope that site loses all its followers contaminating our Parade with that cartel sewage.

I think reading the quotes and question that he was alluding to the fact that he is closer to the end of his tenure than the start. Just came across as clickbait chum.

We tend to actually start really well, our record over first 6-8 games is great even in peps first season, then it tends to go a bit shit before we really ramp it up after Christmas. 100 point season had very little bumps granted!
derby day the scores were level,

I suspect we may have a really busy summer.

I suspect this summer will be formative for the next 5 years, and I'd much rather we get the business in now than fuck about next year if Pep is leaving. We still haven't replaced Gundo, maybe Doku will mature and be the Mahrez replacement we need.

For me, Phillips, Nunes, Gomez can all go, Walker, Bernardo, KDB we need to give consideration if a decent enough offer comes in, so in reality we're looking at needing 2 absolutely top drawer midfielders, and we should have the money to do that extremely comfortably from any sales we make.

I still think we desperately need a LB. Gvardiol isn't the one - wouldn't surprise me to see someone like Stones go in the summer and have Gvardiol and Lewis both capable of pushing from defence into CM. If we could find an LB capable of doing the same, we'd have an insane numerical advantage in midfield under pep's preferred tactic.

I think we could be in for a rebuild and a dip next season. Hope I’m wrong but when I look at our recent purchased vs the status and impact of those most likely to leave I’m worried.

For me our best 11 if we want to be playing the very biggest games still includes players like Eddy, Stones, Walker, KDB, Bernardo etc and these are the players most likely to go.
Tracking back is overrated.

I somewhat like Walker, he's gonna forever be part of our history, but time to chose the captain from Father Ruben and Rodri.
Saw Dias was Portugal's captain tonight.

Leave the sentimental part behind.
