Be nice to know why he was crap for 6 months. And therefore being a big part of the team being crap, compared to last year

Name one player that doesn’t have a dip in form, especially after carrying the team last season

Quite an ironic post, John.

You never answer any questions John.

I’m defending a City player but I’m the one in the wrong?

Name a player that doesn’t have a dip in form. He wasn’t crap for 6 months was he. He was injured for a good chunk of the start of the season. But don’t let that get in the way of your hatred for him.

As I'm old and wise I rarely respond to obvious nonsense because it just results in more nonsense in reply. Point of illustration your hero McAtee - where it seems you can now see what everyone else has seen for well over a year.

Championship player at a stretch.

And you do love an argument. I guess it's good there's CCTV in bars, and DNA these days

Stating that I love an argument but replying to a post from two weeks ago with name calling, when I’ve simply asked a question  Okay John - Hope your Sunday gets better mate.

At least he was trying to make things happen last night.
I think Bernardo Backwards gets far more of a free pass personally.

But is not about Bernardo, is it?
It's about him that had 6 great months and then went back and became his usual inconsistent self. Exactly when we needed him to step up, exactly when Merlin was no more and Kevin and Gundog are near the end of their careers.

Yeah, I think he get's a free pass. He is not overrated, he is just lazy. And a player who had two great games for us in Europe in his whole career.

thought phil did pretty well when he came on
bernardo struts around the pitch these days, offering very little apart from the odd dropped shoulder into one of the oppo's face when we are losing

Bernardo is shit and has been shit for a good 12 months. Hopefully Bobb can replace him once he’s back up to fitness and Bern can finally get his Mrs’ long awaited move abroad.

I thought Phil did quite well too. Took his full back on a lot, had him worried sick, was shooting, won the pen. Definitely bigger problems than him playing last night. Bernardo the worst, offers nothing anymore

Again, we are not talking about Bernardo.
Say what you need about him, but he turns up, never fakes an injury. But we are talking about Phil Foden.

I don't think he was, mate. Except the penalty yesterday, he was terrible. Put players under unnecessary pressure with his passing, same as Arsenal when he killed our momentum with that pass.
But what annoyed me was his lack of support for Rico and Akanji. Rico was left alone with arguably the best left side in the world Mendy and the cunt.

I didn't think he was too bad last night at all. He hasn't reached the heights of last season, but nobody has. Class is permanent and form is temporary, he will be an integral part of the team going forward. We have bigger problems to solve.

I personally thought he was totally ineffective, he had one shot on target producing a routine save, one run across the edge of the penalty area trying to manufacture a shot and failed, played the ball wide and it came to nothing. Then there was the penalty, it was a foul in the box, he wasn’t going anywhere though. The rest of his play consisted of trying to stop the out ball on the right, I don’t remember him putting in the hard yards, making a stern tackle, just putting some bloody effort in. No, sorry not impressed…..great player obviously but not last night. Grealish was our man of the match and he only played a quarter of the game.
