It’s amazing how many times a rebound ends up at Salads feet

They can do it, they have players who step up we’ve currently got no one to step up when chips are down

Soton goalkeeper has stepped up for them twice today and as for the handball penalty , good grief so unlucky soton.

Great game apart from the lack of a goal. His aggression is a joy to behold. Could definitely have been used as an understudy to Haaland.

He done more in the first 10 mins of the second half than most of our attackers in the last few months. Whats his buyback clause?

Indeed, perhaps the move though has cleared his head and he is set to prove himself. Gone close a few times today

The buy backs only work if the player is willing to come back. Honestly mate, you think any of these kids will want to come back to us?

Come back and see what has happened with McAtee and they can sit on the bench?

Or look at Rico and be 20 years old and be one of the better players in a shit team but get called out by your own fans.

Where do they sign?

Delap may be playing for a relegation candidate but he’s getting lots of minutes. Haaland is going to play most games so unless he gets injured realistically how many minutes would Delap get. The priority anyway is to stiffen up our midfield. We’re pathetically easy to pass or dribble through and then our defenders are running back towards goal facing pacy forwards. It looks like a goal in the making every time.

We need some sort of competition for Haaland. He can’t be our only striker
