Yea, love to see the Tamworth players do it a the highest level every 3 or 4 days with all the pressure, expectation and highest level of scrutiny possible, not only scrutiny on their playing performance but their private lives and that of their families too.

I don’t know a fan who does not think we are shot. 4 titles on the spin we are done mentally and physically to suggest we could just grind out another title is the error we have made collectively. I include Pep and those above him.

Last night had lots of good things. Same issue we are fragile when it matters. This cycle is over and was always going to be however our shit summer has accelerated it along with injuries. Some on Pep but he has enough credit in the bank.

Whether he’s tired or not, he’s been largely ineffective this season and I don’t recall him being brilliant last season either. Though I could be misremembering that.

And as such shouldn’t warrant as many minutes as he’s had. This is on the guy who picks the team and schedules training and plans team rotation. Pep.

It isn’t as if we haven’t got talented lads from our trophy laden academy who are chomping at the bit for a chance. And would they be any worse
