“Grealish had talent coached out of him”

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

It depends on the player also. I think Kevin does not follow Pep completely, so you can see his genius, but also their multiple shouts on the sideline.

But yeah, Pep coached, not talent, but something out of the players. "Don't shoot, Vinnie" - that is why I think the whole idea is very accurate.

Bottom line is Jack has never been the same since he went on the piss for 3 months after Istanbul.

Not in right condition, got injured, not really fit, not selected, can't pin down a place etc etc

Good old English lad and all that, but in the dedication stakes most of us are well in the shadow of most countries

I think you’ve just about summed it up perfectly there.

I wonder how Jack is feeling. Is his City time at a crossroads.

Yes, time for Jack to move on. However, where ? Maybe Chavski.

Didn’t he come on and score and set up last week?

I wanted him to come on. He shot into an empty net but was there. His pass was deflected to Haaland who scored. Still he was trying to make something happen. There’s a lot of competition for that place on the left. Savinho Doku Bobb and now Marmoush. Not clear how he features going forward. A sale in the summer is clearly a possibility.

He’ll be gone in the summer.

We’ve spent £100m on him and he helped us win the treble.

Arsenal spent £100m on Rice and won fuck all.
Chelsea spent £100m on Caicedo and won fuck all.

According to this Grealish is on 300k a week. Won’t be a queue of Clubs paying that sort of money. Rodri on 220k and will surely get a bump up if/ when he signs an extension.

Also if Kevin extends for a year I doubt Txiki will offer him 400k.

How reliable are these sites though? Who are 'capology'. I'm not sure how anyone can be entirely sure what a player's wage is unless they start sharing our their payslips!

While the accuracy of salary data can vary, especially early in the season, Capology's data boasts impressive levels of verification. For instance, in the Premier League, over 90% of salaries are typically verified, with numbers rising further post-Summer or January transfer window.
Last season, 96.7% of salaries were verified post-window, highlighting the reliability of the data.

Didn’t we sign Grealish because we finally gave up on Messi, only for Messi to turn around days later and beg us to sign him but we couldn’t so he moved to Paris?

Was it not the summer we wanted Harry Kane, and Levy set a massive price so we turned to Grealish?
