I'm a bit worried about this signing. He's not very good with his feet. How does that fit our way of playing?

Clearly it doesn't does it, I agree. Looks to me like he's a better version of Joe Hart. Shite with his feet but a loud bastard. That may help us restore a bit of calm at the back, but if we keep giving the ball away with poor distribution, it's going to come back on us. Really do not get this transfer at all. Worried to death about the derby now as can see him being pitched straight in

I am praying to the heavens to be alive on the day we are not going to start with a short ball near our defenders to create unnecessary pressure.

I'm going to reserve judgement till I see an hopeful Pep master plan. We've whittered for months for change maybe this is it. What he's planning to do is unknown. Maybe the boring pass forward, sidewards, backwards and sideways is going to stop and play be more forceful up front. Hopefully not trying to walk it into the back of the bet and more shots taken outside the box.

Fuck knows.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

I'm not, He's a fekking Goalie and not a central midfield player.

Good with his feet for what ? Even poor Trafford was left in the shit with the defence, against Spuds for their second goal. Pissing around , playing pass the ball in the area when the opposition are pressing. Kick it into Row Z and reorganise.

You do realise that playing from the back is very demanding on the players to get the ball into the oppositions box to score, surely ?

For Scouse, Salad just waits on or around the half way line for a punt forward and a run on goal . He does sod all otherwise.

City have allowed defenders to dominate the play and that is not their job. That is the job of the midfielders. Oh and whilst i am at it , Dias needs a big kick up the ass and get himself fit and organised.

Complete and utter bollocks that he's terrible with the ball at his feet. Also horse shite about Ederson's shot stopping being bad. Facts in the video, rather than opinion -

Alison is a fantastic stopper. You could run an hour on him making a twat of himself. Just look at him setting up Foden…..

He's not a fantastic stopper mate. His stats show he's been worse than Ederson for the past two years at saving shots

It comes to something when, 2 pages into a thread about signing arguably the best goalkeeper in the world of the last few years, not a single one of us gives a shit and it's almost universally seen as a negative thing.

Trafford has a shot at being City's number 1 for a decade or more - and was almost a free hit due to the buyback clause. He's also club trained which is a big thing for us right now.

There's no way on this planet he was signed without being told that Donnarumma was coming in, so fair fucks to the guy for taking the challenge - one way or another, one of them likely leaves next summer at a significantly higher transfer fee, one of them is the #1 for at least the next 5 years.

I don't see the negative for anyone here.....other than the fact they both have to play with no right back and shite tactics

When you have a manager who is incapable of sorting out the defense then what does it matter who is in goal ???!!!
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Really? I find that very surprising. Not sure how these things are computed. Did both keepers face the exact same type of shot, from the same player, under the same circumstances in the same conditions.
These stats are all subjective, and really mean little.

Yes, they both played in the same league so faced the same players. Watch the video linked above - it's eye opening.

Never rated Alison to be honest, didn't see him better than Ed.
He's more of an accident in the making.

He kept Eddie from being Brazils number 1 so can't be all that bad.

What surprised me is that there weren't any bigger clubs in for Kelleher, always stepped up Alison was injured. Deserves better than Brentford imo

There's been plenty of players over time that have kept other players out and not been as good. It's one managers opinion.

Stats are fact

Interesting article about the change from Ederson to Donnarumma. Also dispels the myth about Ederson being a poor shot stopper and says Donna ain't that bad with his feet (but obviously not as good as Ed).
