it's just a match or three...i hate it and am frustrated, but you have to stick with him and see what he can do. He's not a joker, and i like his attitude.

And i also don't think Cook is a vampire per Slim's comments above...i don't like how Hughes got let go, but i think we've established with some level of reasonableness that it was more the backroom political wranglings with Marwood and Cook that got Hughes sacked and not only the team performances on the pitch. That might not be suitable to some, but that front office chemistry and team building is what Cook and co. are trying to establish and Hughes wanted none of that continental setup. I can see both sides, but it doesn't make Cook a demon for basically carrying out the business model that he and the ownership have agreed upon.

I hope the players get a real siege mentality and show us some good football for a few matches. We deserve it after the shower we've been watching the last month or so.

cheers

4th in league with 10 games gone, playing in Europe, still with a good chance of progressing further, dream stuff for me after all these season. Anyone would think City have never lost 3 games before, press are going to love it without our own fans getting on the side/clubs back ... just shows all the money in the world means fuck all.

He's lost the plot and lost the dressing room. Looks like the press stories are closer to the truth than we'd like to believe.

He'll be gone as soon as they find a replacement and he shouldn't be suprised, considering how he was appointed

He picked the team ie. Vieira, Zabaleta, SWP to begin with, not to mention Boyata.. all not good enough

Initial team selection, 'tactics', substitutions esp leaving Vieira on. Think that covers it.

Because he is treating the competition in the same way he treated the Carling Cup. A win tonight and he could have fucked about with the line up as much as he wanted in the last 2 games safe in the knowledge we had qualified, now we are gonna have 2 tough Thursday night fixtures which weren't needed.

At 1-1 he brings off an attacking player to play our main central defender in a role he hasn't played in for months.

Because he clearly didn't have the players motivated enough to keep on going if we weren't 3-0 up after 20 minutes.

Because he made a player with the IQ of Forrest Gump's slightly less clever cousin captain and left a 94 year old on for the full game.

Not saying he should be sacked, think he needs to be given until the end of this season at an absolute minimum but his decision making in the last few games has been fucking appalling. A big, big couple of games coming up for him.

not only did he pick the team, he picked the staff and tells them how to train. He tells them how to play, what area's he whants them to work on and who he would like to buy.
So yes he is to blame, he is slowly fucking up any good bits we had as a team end of.

Yep and the fact Vieira should be removed from the club immediately, i bet he's on 100k a week still.
For what?
Now we know why wenger never re signed him, not the same player at all.

Are Silva, Kompany, De Jong, Hart ect expected to play Sat, Thur, Sun, Wed, Sat and perform to the best of their abilities? because that won't happen.

What are squads for is they aren't used properly? We had a more than good enough side out tonight to be competitive and come away with some points and we were one sitter and one freak goal away from doing that.

I would of liked to have seen Balotelli come on but apart from that i thought we were unlucky tonight. You couldn't say that at Wolves.

What, so it's down to those first team players who stayed on the pitch, plus Paddy?
