You have to hand it to
Signor Mancini. A League Cup
semi last season, FA cup
semi this. If it sounds like
relatively small beer to
some, try following
Manchester City for 36
years.

Whos smug?

Im fucking pissed off to fuck!...Im sick of turning up week in week out home and away and watching a bunch of fucking money wanking lazy twats running around a football field. Where was the passion to CLOSE down tonight? There was only Tevez who gave a fuck and its all down to Mancini! we will never be successful with him as our manager.

There was about 10 mins after arsehole's sending off and again in the 2nd half following some really bad decisions, when the players seemed angry, fired up. Once they calmed down, they reverted to orders/tactics. Strange that they looked most threatening when they ignored the manager

Meaning:- They played their natural game until the managers restrictive ways kicked back in. We all know what happens to players who don't tow the line.

Depends how many don't toe it. There's a fine line between tevez being a whinging bastard and losing the dressing room. The next few weeks could be very important. If they feel he's wrong or don't believe in his tactics, it's going to go very badly.

stick with him unless mourinho is up for it

I knew we were gonna go out last night - all mancinis recent press conferences suggested it i.e. "tevez is tired" and "we need to mak sure we don't concede" all added up to one thing :-

I think that, if not for Balotelli, Bob would have delivered last night. I think he showed probably for the first time since he came, that he's learned to throw the kitchen sink at a game in order to try & win. If we'd had a few more options in the squad, one or two more players who can beat a man, have pace, put crosses in etc Kiev would have folded.

Bob fucked up like an amateur in the 1st leg but he played pretty much all the cards available last night & I've no complaints with what he tried to do. He also showed he has built a team that will fight. I hope he remembers Lescott's part in it when the season ends.

i have no doubt we would of won that game had there been 11 city players on the pitch. we were all over them, it was a matter of time before they collapsed. i was proud of the remaning ten last night. worked their bollocks off.

work like that against chelsea and we will get something.

Pretty much spot on. His naivety in the first leg was astounding. We should have parked the bus with different personnel. Kiev would probably have blanked let alone bag two. We lost it over there. Last night we just fell short .Balo´s travails certainly did not help. The chance early doors would have set us up nicely. Kiev were a well organised but frankly poor side and it´s going out to THEM that sticks a bit although frankly I´m not that arsed and have said for sometime that something had to give. We now know we have 10/11 cup finals remaining - that´s it! We have a full squad to choose from so no more excuses - up and at em from first whistle to last with every last fibre of our beings!

We made enough chances in Kiev to score. I hate this park the bus bollox. Kiev aren't a good side and I still believe that not only should we have gone through, but we should have won both legs.

We should have beaten Kiev overall end of story. No doubt at all that we are the better team but for whatever reason it didn't happen.

Can he deliver when it matters? The next 5 matches will tell us a lot.Only 1 at home v Sunderland and that will be no walkover as they are just getting players back and waking up.Then we have our away form and games against Chelsea,Liverpool, scum and Blackburn. If our away form carries on we might be close to dead so it really is time for him and the team to get it right.

I do hope and pray for a surprise but I do fear the worst.
