Just thought I'd bump this up. Bob said 'I'm a nice man' when asked last night if it was still true that Tevez would never play for City again. Interesting. Just thought I'd mention it as the hearing is today I believe.

Out of the country for the next few days so I may not be able to take part in this or the Derby, which is a pity as both could be fun. Enjoy it folks. Cmon the blues!

And, with Juventus believed to be amongst those interested in Tevez, Moggi has advised the club to reconsider any such transfer.

"Buying a dressing room breaker like Carlos Tevez in January would be the biggest disaster ever that could hit Juventus who are in the process of rebuilding," Moggi wrote in his Tuttomercatoweb column.

The minute he's available for £20m, Juventus would be there straight away, past discrepancies or not. Someone will come in for him if he's on the cheap which is why we come to the best arrangement for us, regardless of how it impacts on him.

it's like the hottest girl in the neighborhood just got released from jail. I'm sorry, but dudes will have a sniff regardless of her past, and same goes for Tevez...damaged goods my ass. I couldn't help but think for a few minutes last night that i wish the ape-man was playing and creating a singular, heroic moment of quality which we seemed to lack, but then....our mettle came through and his replacement scored. Karma.

Never have mate, but I'm not too sure we're going to get the punishment that we want.

I thought today was the day?

Edit: Last night I did find myself thinking we were missing a player like Tevez.

I didn't pal..I did not even think of him when we were 1 -1..I always thought we had a chance with the players that were on the pitch, I never want to see the fat little turd ever again..he is an embarrassment to football and if we back down then I hope there is an anterior motive for doing so.

as i wrote above Beefster, i felt the same way, but was relieved to find that we didn't actually need him. As i said, Karma has a sting in her tail for Tevez, and i'm glad she's not letting him off the hook just yet.

dunno how it will end, but i think it will get way more confusing/ugly/ridiculous between now and xmas for sure. I hope we stand our ground and take him sans vaseline without the courtesy of a reacharound.

cheers

Tribal I know..

http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/ ... =main_feed

The former Arsenal star admits Corinthians maintain interest in Tevez - and revealed City's planned suspension for the striker.

"It is part of my job to know what is happening in different countries, looking for players who are free and who want to return home. I cannot deny that [Tevez] is one of those athletes," the director told reporters at a press conference.

"I have a great friend who works in City, Patrick Vieira. I ask questions, I want to know. Everything I did is now known by Andres [Sanchez, club president], the important people, the contacts.

"He is a player who, disregarding his state of mind, has his own value. It is difficult to talk about a price to say if he is worth it or not.

"City have said that Tevez must stay out of the club for a month. Mancini said that he does not want him back. We will hope to resolve his situation, but at the moment there is nothing too concrete."

If true is 1 month long enough?

From the Beeb. Also, SSN reporting that we may not hear anything of the outcome for 5 days.

Manchester City to charge Carlos Tevez with refusing to warm up

Striker Carlos Tevez will be charged by Manchester City for refusing to warm up against Bayern Munich when he attends a disciplinary hearing on Friday.

A club investigation failed to prove City boss Roberto Mancini's claim that Tevez did not follow instructions to come on as a substitute.

The 27-year-old will face a number of other charges and City are expected to make an announcement early next week.

Tevez, set to exit the club in January, will appeal against any punishment.

A senior City figure who has not been part of the initial investigation will chair Friday's hearing.

Tevez can request that club captain Vincent Kompany or a member of the Professional Footballers' Association to be present.

Once charged, he can take his case to the City board - with that hearing likely to involve a representative of the club's Abu Dhabi-based owners.

If he is again unsuccessful, the Argentine would be able appeal to the Premier League - and he could contest that ruling as well - meaning the dispute may not be settled until mid-December.

Both camps accept it would then be best if Tevez moved on during the winter transfer window, although no talks have taken place with potential suitors.

The very best thing to do now is just let him train, ideally away from the rest of the squad and get shut of him in Jan to the highest bidder.

Going through all this disaplinary stuff is a waste of time, the bottom line either way is to get rid of him without upsetting anyone else too much. Its going to end up as 'communication issue', and everyone wants shut of this relationship anyway.

Ultimately yes City lose a bit of face on this one but we need to move on and concentrate on winning things.
Last thing I want is Mancini losing faith in his employers due to lack of support over this issue.

I'd be pretty mythed if Mancini isn't well upto date with all the issues surrounding this and is in full support of what the outcome may be. His 'softening' approach wasn't pushed out there for no reason.

No need to worry.

I sorta had a suspicion that Mancini had misunderstood and then overreacted...how embarrassing, pundits and coaches all weighed in on Tevez's refusal to play and possible punishments and now it appears it was all incorrect. We should still sell him though...
